Hey Heart, just wanted to let you know that makeup that claims to be long-wearing (16-hour, x-hour, etc.) isn't the same as waterproof! Long-wearing makeup is usually formulated to withstand oil on your face, which is pretty much the opposite of water. For example, a lot of people use waterproof mascara because they think it won't smudge, but find that it smudges anyway. This is because waterproof mascara shouldn't run if you swim or get caught in rain, but if you have oily skin & eyelids you might find that it smudges under your eyes. If that's the case, using a regular non-waterproof mascara might help with that, but it wouldn't stand up to water!

Jenny Waterproof makeup usually IS long-wearing. It's just that some of the products she's using claims to be long-wearing but not waterproof, so they might not reliably be waterproof if someone wore them to swim.

most Maybelline mascaras work amazing on me especially the falsies in the purple tube with blue letters and the yellow cheetah print thats supposed to look the best with winged liner, which you can skip, either way ive noticed that they work the best onme

I must give it a try a then! I don't have very oily skin but my foundations tend to look cakey because although I don't have any pimples (*knock on wood) usually, I do have textures, I'm assuming from dry skin so foundations don't usually look flawless...but I LOVE full coverage! Lol I know I'm all over the place 😅

***** thats good but i know from experience i have 20/20 vision aswell but over time when you use it everyday it dries your eyes out thats why the redness goes away and eventually damages your eyes can cause dry eyes and sensitivity to sunlight also can cause you to have redness everyday which happened to me and so i would advice anyone against it, i don't wear glasses though lol. He can use it just wouldn't recommend it for a daily basis at all! Let his eyes settle down on its own depending on where you live if theres lime in your water thats what's causing the red eyes.

The Loreal liner sucks!! On me it flakes off and does not stay. Try the wet n wild H2O proof liquid liner instead! That stuff stays sooooo well!

the title was misleading. Half the products weren't even waterproof. she should've just said it's a drug store makeup hall. she wanted waterproof products to test them but then didnt. some I understand but the eyeliner, she said there was a waterproof one but she didn't buy it cause "everyone uses that one". so? that means it's good and she still should've gotten it to test it. this was misleading

even the lip stain wasn't waterproof. if your gonna say it's waterproof then make it all waterproof. there are waterproof lipsticks. long lasting isn't the same as waterproof, and she tried to make it seem like it was

The maybeline unstoppable eyeliner is an AMAZING waterproof eyeliner!! I'm a swimmer and during school when I would have to go to practice right after school, I would just swim with my makeup on and I could go an entire practice without my makeup smudging or coming off at all even if I had my goggles off and dunked my head under water or rub my eyes. I highly highly recommend this waterproof eyeliner. It does what it claims to do. It stays glued to your eyes exactly how you want it until you take it off and even then, it barely budges. One con about it, is that it's not very good for a waterline eyeliner. I would recommend the rimmel scandal eyes gel waterproof eyeliner. It is very good for a waterline eyeliner and it stays on very well and I absolutely love it.

Another good concealer that isn't considered waterproof, but is really good is the NYX HD photogenic concealer. I usually wear it on it's own and I stay a long time in the pool. When I come out most of is gone, but it still has good coverage and I dont set it with anything. It might work better if you use a setting powder and dont stay as long.

Am I the only one who vehemently DESPISES waterproof makeup? The waterproof mascara is the worst. It always results in me scrubbing my eyes for literally forever using like 5 makeup wipes, I end up losing my lashes too. 😭 😡😡😡😭😭😭

The maybelline lash stiletto is my favorite water proof mascara. It is so good I go to huge a water park ever couple days. I go on a bunch of slides and swim for 4-8 hours and theres still a shit ton of my mascara on, it doesn't come off at all unless you use coconut oil or obviously makeup remover but coconut oil is easier. I suggest using the contact solution trick every few weeks with it because it drys out pretty quick but at least you don't get a crap ton of mascara all over your eyelashes the first few times you apply it.

Essence has a waterproof felt tip liner that i lovveeeee. Its only 3$ ☺️ or nyx has a matte liquid liner that isnt waterproof..but it survives all day even when working out. They are both by far the best liners ive ever had

Hello from Sydney, Australia! I know it's not considered a drugstore product in America, but in Japan there is a brand called K-Palette that has a product called 1-Day Tattoo Eye Liner. I used it my entire time in Japan (where it was snowing a lot!) and it didn't budge for me. I have slightly oily lids, so this was perfect for me. If I'm not mistaken, they have mascara's as well.
