Omfg, I totally forgot about Cross The Line Metrik Remix. It was one of the first DnB songs I ever heard. Now I just randomly stumbled upon DnB Arena again.
Set aside the arguments; I'd like to say that this is the most amazing album i've ever downloaded, especially the second Mix, so much underground D&B, which seems to be the best!! Nothing better than driving down the M4 on a mega sunny day in summer 2012 while listening to this! I HOPE THERE'S A 2013 VERSION!
Okay guys, what the fuck. This comment section is the definition of stupidity, people saying that Skrillex is the original techno artist and shit like that. He doesn't even belong to this genre, why even mention him? I just came here to say that I thought this Album was going to be shit from this mix, because I was looking for synth driven loud drum & bass. What I found was the best compilation of Liquid Funk D&B I have ever come across. This has been my favourite album for over 6 months now.
@SpY8781 I love feel the love by rudimental. It always makes mixes so much better. The opening in the bass culture 2 megamix where the smithies are making the ukf logo is one of the best.
comments these days... - something about skrillex, saying he doesn't make dubstep or complain about how he get mentioned every video, like i just did... - something about genre, based on bpm, drums and synth - something about 'it's not real ... ', because everybody knows their classics and everything that sounds different is not real - something about ukf isnt as good as it was, or other channels that are way better. - something about how old you are and how you want to be a known producer...
Skrillex creates dubstep. Dubstep started to evolve in about 09 - 10 and tbh Skrillex has a handful of songs with dub and Reggae influences which seems closer to the dub in dubstep than most 'Mainstream' artists. He produces EDM which includes his high energy perception of 140bpm dubstep.
UKF didn't compile this album, Drum and Bass Arena did. This is just UKF's mix of the album. If anything, you should be complaining to Drum and Bass Arena.
you so right, but you just forgot that in each video, don't matter which genre, Justin Bieber get a comment, too. So Justin, if you are not in this video yet, here's your comment ;)
Skrillex was one of the first known techno artists....& i say techno as in dubstep, electro, etc. Get the fuck over it, he will always be good in my mind.
What's even wrong with Skrillex? he's a good artist (my opinion) it angers me that on almost every UKF video someone has to talk shit about him when he has absolutely nothing to do with the song.
you haters are the ones who give them more publicity and views. look at rebecca black, how famous would she be if everyone liked her? not that much, but since she had so much hate she grew in popularity.
