imagine Steve Gadd vs Dave Weckl but this is the Japanese version of them...My main influences are from these drummers....combining but grooving techniques of noritake and akira's one man orchestra playing/afro cuban and percussion rhythms
Thsi is what happens when you have inspirational drummers like the great Billy Cobham. These two young men are super sensational drummers. They are so good that you hardly tell when one or the other is playing. Their playing is so fluid that's its simply incredible!!
@upbeatmantis86 the awesome thing about hiroyuki is as groovy as he is he can play just like akira jimbo if necessary. hiroyuki shows that while playing alongside akira in synchronized dna..AMAZING
Hiroyuki Noritake is so underated drummer, he should be in Modern drummer by now.. i personally prefer his playing over A. Jimbo.. IMO, Hiroyuki Noritake grooves'solo are more fluid and has that certain 'groove' thatss pleasing to hear , from a drummers perspective.. A. Jimbo is no doubt good, but i feel he's playing is too boxy (linear)
@upbeatmantis86 i know what you mean, im a huge fan of both of them. but noritake is definitely the more technical of the 2. he's a lot more methodical.
yes i liked it. both good drummers.as times go.s on thy will even get betther.thy are no buddy rich .or louie bellson .than who is.thy will allways be the best .now i have to thell you about a men on you tube .he is not known to me or you .this guy is as good .or betther than any drummer. that i have come acros .his name is fon morcus. he is on you tube. he is the best show drummer around. this guy blew me away.who is this guy?he sgot to be world best.
here's an idea worth trying out (reworded professionally, of course) ''World's Drum battle Showdown -- 2017'' ... (10 countries / 20 drummers >>> cast your vote!) ...blah blah blah LOL! it'll end up being the Soviet Union vs. U..S.A. then next thing u know they'll be trash talk about WWlll coming from the losere of some ridiculous Drum Battle !
