Drum Carder Unboxing 

I finally have a drum carded! I’ve wanted one for so long! This is a Fancy Kitty Kitten carder. I’ve had this particular model picked out for so long I forget where I heard of it first. It seems to be a semi cheap but very good quality carded. There are cheaper but smaller carders on the market but those are ones I see people upgrading from. I’d rather buy something once and get it right the first time. Time will tell if I’ve chosen correctly but I think I have.
With this carder I will be able to prepare fleeces for spinning much more efficiently by creating large batts rather than using smaller hand carders. My goal of processing a fleece from raw fleece to sweater is getting closer!
