Useful tip: if you have problems with coordination in this exercise, try to play single eight notes on the ride to make it easier and understand how the snare and bass drum patterns change, then add swing pattern on the ride.

Me neither lmao I used this video when I was starting jazz drums, I've been playing jazz drums for 4 years now and still have no clue how to read sheet music, it does come in very handy if you're playing professionally, but I'm not really so doesn't matter
