I needed this. Thank you. I don’t think I was shifting them enough. I stopped at 3, you took it to 5 and I like how it sounds there. And wasn’t doing the swing step either so glad I seen this.
Hey man I just want to thank you for all the hard work you have put in, it is much apprciated. I am just getting into music production and your videos are awesome! Keep it up man!
Hey just wanted ask if you could show us how to make a Chris Brown type beat like u did with Kanye and drake it was fire but the challenge is his cords and melodies
thanks for the video!! in trap beats are clap and snare interchangeable for the 3/7 main beat? ive been doing claps on 3/7 and the bounce beats using a snare? any swing or shift on any of the trap drums? thanks !!
Double-time would be where the MUSIC is twice as fast not the bpm what you're doing in the trap beat is half-time. Thanks though your tutorial. Using the same beat for East Coast and West Coast really made it clear. This always has confused me not being deep in the hip hop world. Thanks.
Im confused. If you tilt your hats, claps, and kicks to the right.. (all drums) then everything is to the right. Wouldn't everything to the right, mean nothing to the right? Isn't the point that to create a funky sound by having some elements having a slight offset on the timing? I've always wandered how to get that real heavy cool west coast feel on my drum patterns. Yours sound dope thought, I just don't quite understand.
