As you can tell from all my mistakes-practicing with unfamiliar drumless loops-helps me become quick responding and builds a series of sometimes off/ in pocket grooves and creative beat pattern(s). Reason for NOT practicing these loops prior to recording is because the unknown patterns or changes within the loop-creates feels/ sounds that may or may not fit. Because of the unforeseen changes keeps me on my toes & hands;) ultimately-assists me when called on for a last minute fill-in/ hire.
