Drumlins and Bluffs  

To me, drumlins are the most beautiful in the Finger Lakes. My mother was particularly enchanted with this area of New York State. Drumlins are a geological feature that had been unknown to us until we moved to the Finger Lakes in New York State. It is of great interest to note that a Drumlin, when cut into by the raging inland seas known as the Great Lakes, becomes known as a "bluff." The bluffs shown here can be seen from Fair Haven Beach State Park.
