I absolutely love when a fellow drummer reviews this song !!!!! Akane totally nailed it !!!!!! One of the best drum performances I have ever heard without being over the top. As usual Akane's style fits the song perfectly !!!!!

Thanks for the reaction and comments. Akana went into all out King Kong mode here. Shambles is a hard rockin' epic track. An absolute banger! There should be a warning disclaimer before the song starts. I could get into a lot of trouble while driving when this song is playing in the background.

BTW, you might like a young drummer, Yoyoka, she is originally from Japan but moved to the US two years ago to help her career. She did a great cover of Mr. Big's "Colorado bulldog" when she was 12 (she's now 14). You can find it on her YT channel. She also has released a cover of Muse's "Hysteria" along with 5 other very talented kids.

Akane remembers by having a picture of the score in her mind's eye which is mental. She even marks up changes on a paper score with her schoolkid style pencil case between shows.

Yes, Shambles is the Akane show with special guest stars Kanami, MISA, Saiki and Miku. But wait! Was it really the Kanami show, because she wrote the song and played it with such forcefulness and exquisite abandon. Or was it the MISA show because without MISA, the rapturous drive of the song would be a ride on four flat tires. Or was it the Saiki show because she focused the sonic chaos into a song with melodies that could express Miku's lyrics like no other singer could. Without Saiki, Shambles might sound like a familiar instrumental. Or was it the Miku show because, damn, she wrote the lyrics, played the important rhythm parts, and added her unique brand of backup vocals that have become a defining "sixth instrument" of Band-Maid. So exactly whose show was it? It was the Maid's show, as usual! 🤘🎀🤘 Thx, Shane!

Wow. Sorry you got nabbed. I’ve never heard of anyone getting a strike from PC for The Maids except for the recent fan cam upload of the Band Maid/The Warning colab and that seems to be mostly because it was unreleased content with no digital signature to see that the Artist’s get compensated for their work. RU-vid content cops can suck sometimes. Glad you enjoyed this vid though.
