Drummer Reacts to "Genshin Impact - 'Serene and Fathomless' & 'Termination of Desires'" 

Good catch, the Sakura Sakura leitmotif is omnipresent in the Inazuman tracks. The composers have talked about it in one of the behind-the-scenes videos. Off the top of my head, you can also hear it in Awake From a Nightmare, The Almighty Violet Thunder, Separated Dream and a whole bunch of other ambient tracks

Oh yeah, Termination of Desires...that brings me back, good old 2 years back. People went MAD when that character trailer got released for the Lightning God Ei. This went hard alongside some amazing editing. You should definitely check out the trailer if you haven't already.

If possible, I would love to see you watch the demos that the themes are part of either in the same video or a separate one. Hoyo match the music very well to the visuals, and Raiden Shogun's demo with Termination of Desires is a perfect example of that. It's so regarded by a lot of people as THE ONE to compare to.

So, FYI, if no one has already told you, the Stellar Moments albums are compilations of the tracks made for each character trailer, and these tend to be less traditional. They are music external to the game (and thus have far less burden to "be diagetic"), used to accompany high-action, "choreographed" combat and narrative, so they tend to be more modern.

Termination of Desires is the theme of the Raiden Shogun, who is the archon of Inazuma, the region based on Japan. The Sakura leitmotif was intentional, it's the first thing I noticed too when I first heard the track.

I can highly recommend "Awake From a Nightmare" or the full animation in the form of "Character Teaser - "Raiden Shogun: Nightmare"" as it is a piece that goes hand in hand with "Termination of Desires" that also picks up the inazuma leitmotif that's based on Sakura Sakura.

You can also go for Eula's Theme (Dance of Aphros) and Zhong li's theme (Rex Incognito).

Another song that would be nice to hear is the other boss theme Before the Light Fades since it has a different vibe from the other genshin music

Since these are character themes, would be cool if after you listened to the song you watched the respective character demo!

Wow you’re reactions are awesome man keep it up! One specific suggestion i don’t see many people talk about is “destined parting” it’s amazing and very tragic and I’ve always wanted to hear you’re opinion on it. A lot of my favourite music is from this style (it relates to a certain character not really a region like a lot of the music that you’ve listened to)

If you can, please do "A thousand waves under the moon". It's my favourite theme and I would like to see how you react to it. I find it very calming

Too bad Wanderer's demo theme isn't officially out on an album yet, it would have been the perfect counterpart to Termination of Desires.
