oh man i just recently heard of this band and i can't get over it for about 3 months now still can't get enough. their cohesiveness but you can also tell the individually of the ladies in their songs.

Wow, it's been awhile but glad to see you back with Lovebites. As others have mentioned, you missed a lot of news and some big changes. Miho left the band she founded, and they faced the possibility they could not continue. Two of them had babies. Then they recruited a new bassist, and recorded a bunch of new material. The biggest news was their two concerts "Knocking at Heavens Gate" from summer of 2023, which were recorded and put out on DVD. Eight songs from those concerts are up on RU-vid. If you go find those and react to a few of them you will not regret it.

There ar e quite a few lives out from their latest tour, 2023, with good mixing and sound quality. Drummer Haruna is relentless like a metronome, both Miho and Fami master their bass (for Fami's capabilities, you should visit "Alien Alien" from my list, it's in her RU-vid channel will almost 700K subscribers), the dual guitars M&M (for Midori and Miyako) is most certainly the best duo for trading guitar solos and harmonizing, and Asami's voice is stellar with big range, powerful belt and good vibrato. She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES. Please consider "being there" for the 'Trio of Miho' without pause for 15 minutes of phenomenal composition, arrangement & performance. It begins with "The Apocalypse" which, as a drummer myself, is filled with mind-boggling transitions. Quite 'progressive' in ways unique to LOVEBITES, imo. btw, "today's event" that commenter "@yachiyon777" refers to was "little Big Engine" Haruna's "360°View Drumming!" event where attendees gather very closely ("1 meter") all around her kit as she performs! An experience I hope to enjoy myself someday. Mention in comment is made of her playing "Soldier Stands Solitarily" (195bpm?). This song was performed last, 16th song in their 90min main set in LIVE stream last Sept 24. Only 3min pause then 3-song, 20min encore of equally demanding songs. Haruna's tasteful cymbal-accents, precision & stamina inspire me to continue to develop my own skills. I have remixed "SSS" (& others) with enhanced drums and the more I listen the more impressed I am with her 'style' which 'serves' the songs perfectly while also involving complexity worthy of an exceptional "solo". Sorry, but since then, I've seen LOVEBITES reactions in at least around 1000 different channels, some of them renamed, so I don't remember every channel name. It's really sad. I enjoyed your reactions to band-maid and apparently you stopped after 5 or 6 songs. They have well over 100 in their catalog. You should consider giving them a second chance. It's been 2 years
