I am happy that the drummers have a Leader like Ayankojo Ayanwola ...I was really disappointed in the utterance of Baba Tiamiyu whose likes are sellouts how can you label a profession like drumming as slavery, Kudos to President Ayankojo pls keep up the good work, we are watching you, sir, we are talking about unemployment in the country and we have talented individuals who are very vital to musicians, whose ideas are stolen during rehearsals and they get nothing in return, this is the time they should start negotiating their roles with any musician and earn good money..... thereby elevating their profession to the western standards where they earn good dollars per hour, it is worrisome that the successful ones among the drummers do not want their young colleagues to be better than them

It's great to see someone advocating for the rights and recognition of drummers in the industry. Thank you for watching!

This interviewer has been unbiased and interesting to watch until now. Not only is this interview quite short, but it's also skewed and biased. Hadji Baba Timi and Hadji Bata do not need to air their dirty laundry in the open like this... I love both Hadji Baba Timi and Hadji Bata so much that I cringed watching this interview. Perhaps Ngbati is looking for ratings by creating contversy like his counterpart, who is well known for formenting troubles between band leaders and their band mates. It aint good, bro! Y'all know who I'm talking about. Desisi meh!!! Please bring Hadji Baba Timi and Hadji Bata back to this show so that they can amicably resolve this controversy and use the same opportunity to ask Hadji Bata if he ever considers teaching Yoruba language at any of our foremost universities. Chief Araba Elebuibon comes to mind in this endeavor. Cheers

The singers can't do without the drummers. It's simply arrogance for a singer to discountenance drummers. Synthesisers can't replace them, realistically. Here's an open challenge to K1 and others.

I think Baba Timmy was taken out of context. What he was saying in essence is that an employer is an employer and an employee is an employee. An employee cannot say that he has an equal footing as his/her employer. That is what Baba Timmy was trying to explain. He just used the illustration of a Master and Slave to buttress his point. Maybe he could have cited a more friendlier illustration. I’m sorry I don’t agree with this interviewee in terms of talking drummers striking behind their principal. They are both needed but a singer can sing without a drummer. A drummer can’t drum without a singer. Has he forgotten that acapella is a genre of music too? Uncle Tunji Oyelana and the Benders played most of their evergreen hits without using talking drummers et al… Interviews like this should be conducted with objectivity. I’m not sure there is any objectivity within this short clip. The reason some drummers will fall on hard times is exhibited here, and that is their pride. Please be a little bit more humble, spend your proceeds more carefully and also think outside the box. What has this drummer done for himself since he left Lagbaja? Let him tell us. Enough of all these bastardising band leaders. The whole thing is just getting stale. Oro le gbo yen o!🎉

it is you that did not understand yoruba, Oga is master(in yoruba) Osise (worker in yoruba) but Eru (slave) is always slave, people like you are very rational and deceives people around you with gaslighting.....you went as far as telling us that a known musicians like kwam 1 who is known from onset that his kind of music is drumming infused can just turn acapella All of a sudden and you think it will not affect his music is a joke, ....just take a breath to imagine and listen to your narrative....wasiu should just send away all his drummers including the Jazz .....and start accapella.....how many people will stand up and dance? you dont know that majority of our Yoruba people dance to drumbeats, immediately Wasiu kwam 1 starts acapella it will be a reverse, people will sit down watching him while he stress himself to sing but with no good response from the audience...you will hear from the audience ''whats wrong with Kwam 1? awon onilu da(where are the drummers) thats how bad it will be but we dont pray that it gets to that.

I agree with your submission. Band members are employees while the band leader or the owner is the employer. If as an employee you feel you're not being treated well or become disatisfied with the organization, then you quit.

I love is drummer leader Ayankojo Ayanwola, always telling the truth nothing but….Baba Timmy was very WRONG on that statements he make anyway so call band leaders should take the Challenge up ‘WE WAITING’.

Áyán̄kójọ́ is the right person to be the Chairman of Drummer infant. He has been saying the truth since this issue of Áyán̄kùn̄lé and his former Boss, K1 started. Am so much disrespected by Álháji TIMMY's comment. Saying, ki ẹ́rú mọ́rá rẹ́ lẹ́rú. Ó mean wipé, ẹ́rú ni áwón̄ Ọ́mọ́ Áláyán̄ láti ásikó tiwọ́n̄. Ábí ni ásikó yi ni Òmò Áláyáń di ẹ́rú,,?
