@Bycle It's deffinatley the Zoom q3 and when you postion the q3 in the slightest way it will pick up whatevers closer to it. Possibly if the camera was a little lower the toms would be a bit louder.
@KrowDrumDude cool but other than that what do you think of it? Im looking at making pretty good quality drum videos but its expensive since id be getting an hd camera for the video part. Then for audio id need to get a mic package with an audio interface and some recording software with video editing software... this would be a lot cheaper haha
@KrowDumDude are you using the zoom q3 here? the audio clarity is amazing but it seems to pick up some things better then others. Like I hear the kick and cymbals more then the toms and snare. What do you think of it?
