Rare to see a lesbian happy ending. Nobody died. Nobody cheated with a man. All those stereotypical stuff. None of that. Both of the leading female characters are a boss. They are leaders in their own right. Asian actors. Asian director. I have no negative thing to say about it. Flat out one of the best movies that represented minorities and underdogs.

It is important to note that Saving Face has no man involved and that is so rare

I loved when Michelle and Lynn were playfully arguing for a second as their character and for their character. That was amazing. This was so cool. It's as close to a DVD commentary as we would ever get. I know you guys edit these down but would love to see them comment on the whole movie, which I am sure they did too. Thanks!

what a dream. saving face is my absolute favorite. the fact that it was a very specifically Asian American story (not just blank characters that could be cast Asian American), the switching back and forth between English and Chinese, the fact that it wasnt another "I'm only gay for you" trope, the fact that it didnt involve infidelity, just the drama that already exists in the vulnerability of a new relationship, even that Wil failed at the airport, that instead of a grand gesture, it was about growing up and being ready this time, getting that second chance. And I absolutely love Lynn and Michelle, love them, love their rapport, love their faces

My part of this episode was Ashly yelling at Amanda to turn up the volume because gay stuff was happening. Which was so me!!

I'm asian and when i first watched this, it was really crazy cause I never really seen asian lgbt characters in a movie before. I love both of them on nice girls crew. They are so awesome!

After 15 years, I still have to say that this is THE BEST lesbian movie that I've ever watched. Not only about the tough Asian society/culture, but also 2 women had an amazing chemistry. Look at them now, 15 years later they're still in touch and be friend. Thats why the message delivered so well. Thank you so much to Lynn and Michelle. Y'all did a long-life lasting movie not just for the LGBTQ in general but for the Asian's lesbian community. This movie will be remembered forever.

This movie was so important to me growing up because at the time there was already so little representation, and then suddenly this movie existed and it was so relatable in so many ways, from the whole culture thing to the whole being an lgbt Asian, that it absolutely changed my life. I watch this movie every year, funny and heartwarming and an absolute gem. Thank you so much Michelle Krusiec and Lynn Chen and Alice Wu for the phenomenal work you guys put into this life changing movie!

I live with my dad's side of the family and they are the typical conservative asians so I had a hard time accepting myself as gay and be proudly out until like last year. I didn't know there was an LGBTQ movie about Asian people until my therapist told me about this movie and I absolutely love it. So awesome that you guys got Michelle and Lynn to join! They seem very lovely

I didn't know Saving Face existed?? This is great and I watched the movie just before watching the reaction and it's my new favorite! They didn't die and the movie started out with Will already knowing she was gay which is a huge plus in my book.

I wrote my finals paper for my Indipendent Film major on this film because it impacted me so much when I first watched it. There is so much to love and learn about this film and it made my week that you got Michelle and Lynn in this episode, too! Thank you all, you lovely ladies!!!

Saving Face is THE BEST lesbian film and how amazing that Michelle and Lynn were there too!!! I loved hearing their perspectives and Lynn almost getting back into the character of Vivian. So much talent, I wish Alice Wu would make a sequel!!!

This movie actually had a huge impact on my life. Being a gay Asian it was really empowering to see 2 lovely women loving each other and showing what a relationship should be. They also really showed us the difficulties that Asian women had to face so thank you so much ❤️❤️
