What shall we do with a drunken sailor is probably the best known sea shanty, sung by sailors since the 1830's, and popular among the general public since the 20th Century. In this fiddle lesson I give a number of versions, ranging from basic to advanced, in both D minor and E minor. I also offer suggestions for fiddle accompaniment whilst singing.
I use on-screen sheet music throughout, and a free copy of this sheet music is available to anyone who subscribes to The Fiddle Channel (see below).
