What a collection of shots better work than the band ever puts out for sure. What a masterpiece, everyone on board here really delivered. Probably my most favorite video ever just kind of surreal at points, and the reason I'm going to Charlottesville this year. Big Love Dr J!
I won tickets to this show through Twitter. A radio station was giving 2 tickets away if someone gave their favorite song. I picked "One Sweet World" and won them. Drove to the NJ show with my friend and loved it!!
Was lucky enough to snag a Reverb spot for this show, a Sandy Benefit, and could have left after the sound check it was so good.Just an awesome show all the way around. Thanks for the video stroll. Can't wait for my Summer tour
I think it was around 97-98' ish when Utah's 99.5 came around and they played almost ALL DMB music. Listener requested...Loved those days. I'm probably wrong on the year but I don't care...I am still a fan. Love Dave Matthews Band.
make the most of what you got don't waste time~~ tryin' to be something you're not ~**~***~~**~ fill up your head n fill up your heart and take your shot don't waste time~~ tryin' to be someone you're not
We can only dream haha, it was one of the first things I thought of when I heard the outro. The band hasn't really commented too much on the song yet, but I can definitely see it evolving into an epic jam.
OH OH OH OH OH OH OH! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! As great as the they did on this song, it just kind of fizzled out there at the very end. Can not WAIT to hear it when they get a resolution to the end. Holding my breath until you get Snow Outside loaded from last night! No pressure or anything! ;)
Yep....it totally reminds me of "Breathe" as well. It's the slide guitar, which I would assume is courtesy of Timmy Reynolds. But yeah, that would be cool to do a Drunken Soldier>Breathe>Drunken Soldier medley. Are you listening Dave and Carter?
How soon before they start taking the 2nd part of this song into Breath from Floyd and back into a big close? The ending to this song is what turned me around on this album.
Either Boyd missed his mark or they need to turn him up, because it sounded a little empty going into the chorus at 2:28 But that's the only negative thing I can say! Thanks for putting this up ridiculously fast.
Is that a Larrivee. That’s the headstock anyway. So many fiddles. If we all just forgot about the crap and sat around and jammed the world would be a lot more (not sure what word to use here) Romantic. Something along those lines. At least the cluster fuck would have Rhythm to it.
Seems like Boyd was turned way down during his solo. He still sounds awesome. The buildup for this song is absolutely amazing. When I heard it this morning, I got pumped up. Awesome job guys... ...oh yeah, and the band did pretty good, too.
Not a bad intro I suppose. :) L-O-L And, isn't that one of the biggest reasons we all love, love, love DMB...b/c they never "waste time trying to be something..." they're not. :)
Was checking out dreamingtree, they do EXACTLY what you said, except they ended the show with it!! I wonder if you had something to do with that.. December 21, 2012 Barclays Center Brooklyn, NY 22. Drunken Soldier-> 23. Two Step
Love this number. "That's not a star, that's a satelite." You know he's talking to his children. Is Stefan alright? He's acting strange and he's unusually thin. Where's all that muscle he had before? And where are his glasses. I like them on him. He looks so intelligent with them. Gosh. Love DMB.
I don't agree with that. I instantly fell in love with Big Whiskey, while this album took time for me to warm up to. *shrugs*... but then that's what makes us humans great. We're not all the same, and that's a good thing :)
