I just now thought of this now that I saw both videos on the zero water video and this video...I didn't think about a water filter until just now...good idea...I'm gonna try that
Scotty you can add a lot more water. You can pretty much fill up the tank. I even use humidifier here in NY in the winter. Have to check out this brand.
Great video and review Scotty. This man is a genius this video had me laughing lol. Scotty has a great personality u should be hired for commercials lol
We get dry air this time of year we have a wood pellets stove for heat our air dries out we had to get a large floor humidifier for the first floor of our house we have small ones that one you reviewed for bedrooms I need a new one will order one to try
You should narrate an animated cowboy movie! The Storyteller would be the perfect role for you. That humidifier seems like a really good idea, what do you think the boys think about it?
We get dry air in winter when it’s bitter cold, and I have a nice humidifier, but I’m wondering what’s the coolest temperature guinea pigs can be happy in. We try to turn the heat down to 64° at night but the air feels so cold to me. Under blankets it’s great. So my pigs have two hidey holes with fleece to snuggle into. Is that too cold for them? During the day it’s usually around 70°. We try to conserve energy, but we also want happy, healthy piggies.
Scotty's Animals thanks. I’m feeling worried. I think now we have the pigs I’ll keep the heat at 68°. I really don’t want health issues. They are just so sweet.
Our C&C cage materials are a dollar a grid plus the sheet of plastic I think is $25. You might be able to Source the materials in your neighborhood for even cheaper and the sheet of coroplast is huge so you better have room if you want to take it from the rescue. Home Depot and places like that have giant sheets of coroplast
I would be scared to do this humidity bc of the ringworm spores😪 When our piggee we adopted from petsmart gave it to all of us and it took me two months to treat us all and get it out of our house (fears still remain in my brain) but now i am no longer a moisture advocate haha. I do keep a little thermostat by his cage and a tiny space heater in the room in case our house furnace doesn’t keep my daughter/gp room above 68 lol
Ringworm is pretty much the easiest thing to cure. Just a simple anti-fungal shampoo bath will kill all the spores. Besides it's in the air no matter what
@@ScottysAnimals i dont mean its a bad product its a great product i own one just be aware not to aim it at pigs orhold hand or face over it. You wont feel it but it will leave a burn mark. Im just saying it works great but it warns not to hold your hand over it i literally put my face on it it left what looked like a rug burn. Its weird. Ill go read why on my box and let u know oh and also you wont see the mark right away it takes a couple days i had to figure out why i had the marks on my hand and face.
@@ScottysAnimals okay I got the Box mine is called "Easy Home--Home Environment" that's the company's name and it says it's an Ultrasonic Humidifier. It looks just like yours it's blue and it says easy home right on the blue part. So I can't see it written on the box so wherever the instructions are it says it in the instructions if you have them. I love it that lil humidifier--your hand don't even get wet when you stick your hand in front of it so nothing els will either. I just don't want you to put it near the cage not knowing then the guinea pig is sitting there and he won't feel it either and he could burn his eye out.
