I love the Yam Root Vegan Milk cleanser as my morning cleanse and I am oily. People tend to have the misconception that you need harsh and drying cleansers if you are oily, but it's just (mostly) sebum and some leftover products from night before you are washing away, not crude oil. So no need to go heavy-duty on your skin 😄 in fact some foaming cleansers are too stripping even during evening cleanse for me.
@@galaxymoon2612 this would actually be better for the second steps of double cleanse (in case of water resistant make up/sunscreen). So first an oil/balm, rinse it off and finish it with this yam root vegan milk cleanser.
agree. I am oily sensitive and love the cleanser. Its amazing. Only product I call holy grail after trying so much this year. the texture and feel afterwards is chefs kiss. I still use a oil cleaner before going in with it in the evening. Morning I just use the isntree.
This is amazing! I love that you mention niacinamide free since my skin is sensitive to niacinamide and it's sensitive/dry skin!! This is the video that I needed! Thank you so much for making this video!!❤❤
The main thing I've found for my sort of combo, sensitive, acne prone skin is the Eucerin original cream. When my skin is inflamed or reacting to something, I use this to "slug". It's a very simple formula but I find it doesn't break me out like other ointments do🤷♂️ it's very thick and kinda hard to spread, but the results are worth it for me
I do have dry acne prone sensitive skin. As I am getting older, my skin is getting dryer. I used to be oily in my younger years. Having olive skin with a medium tint, I enjoy your videos.
I haven’t tried the yam root line yet but I really want to try the toner. I recently added the Abib heart leaf essence into my routine when my eczema flared, and it’s been making a difference in my skin. I am less red and reactive.
That sunscreen is absolutely one of my hg sunscreens. And that's literally how I put it on too 😂 It definitely sinks nicely into my dry skin and just gives me a subtle healthy glow, but I don't use any moisturizer under it.
I have dry dehydrated sensitive mature (I’m 50) skin and I am looking for a cream cleanser. Right now I use Osea ocean cleanser. I love it for the experience and texture but it might be too much for my skin. I am looking at the Isntree yam cleanser as well as the B lab matcha cleanser. I prefer a cream cleanser but have been disappointed in the ones I have tried so far.
I wish I could find a good serum for acne/sensitive skin. Nothing works on me. My nose constantly breaks out with pus filled pimples, almost over night☹️
Your sunscreen might have oils or other comedogenic ingredients like dimethicone in it. Also you should remember that double-cleansing is a must (oil-based product and gentle cleanser).
I would've liked to see the mineral Isntree spf instead of the chemical one in this routine, as it is more appropriate for dry, sensitive skin. There aren't many reviews about it but I know it leaves a bit of a white cast...

I think I reviewed that one a year or so ago and I did not like it. Truthfully, the one I used in this video is much more moisturizing in my opinion
