i cried at the end when i saw him eating! look how hard they work and look at all that effort just to make some gravy with plain rice.. may God protect and bless you guys.
guys watching outside India,.. don't think it is monotonous way of cooking..this is actually delicious food for us...we eat rice all the time .. particularly for lunch... rice is the staple food for us..just like bread in West and roti in North.. we eat roti for breakfast/dinner sometimes and we eat white bread/brown bread only we are sick or if we don't have the option to cook.. eating bread is something seen as unhealthy in our Tamil culture.. curry and rice is heaven for us...this is our culture and practice..this is us.
Aurora Honestly, in the West, bread isn’t nearly as much of a staple as rice is in Asia. It’s common, but it doesn’t make up thaaaaat big a portion of our caloric intake.
Bread is overstated in the West by Asians. I'm half Asian myself and am living in the UK. The Asian side of my family all think I eat bread in the same way that they eat rice, but that isn't true. I do eat bread, but it is not an everyday thing, and it is not a side to every/most meals. I do understand the misconception, however, as it is hard for people to imagine anything other than a staple food equivalent to rice.

Hey guys great job... If I ever afford to come to India I will definitely visit, I am a south African Indian and my forefathers are actually from tamilnadu maybe one day.... Keep up the good work guys thumbs up to yourll
using old kitchenware makes food more delicious.. also eating food in banana leaves with bare hands is also delicious we asians do that its better than chopsticks...
Salute to this man, his effort his hard work and to feed all the poor from his pocket he is a great human being. Everything he cooks is full of goodness, healthy. Good on you. Keep your videos coming.
Even if you hated the procedure deep down you wanted to taste it . Bdw I am Indian so I know it is the proper way to cook , I loved it from the beginning.
Thats how you grind the onions or Garlic or Coconut the traditional way, no modern Electric Mixies can match it. Re-calling the ways my father and his ancestors used the same technique... tastes different, the traditional way on the natural stove than the ovens, micro-processors or Gas stoves. I I'm a big fan of you daddy for you cook the same way we do in Mahabubnagar District in Telangana. Please show us how to prepare Kallu Chicken & Mutton (Toddy or Palm WineChicken & Mutton). Please ignore the negative comments. Even Gordon Ramsay would like to have his recipe this way (sic).
Zalikha Latiff they don't have that technology with them, but they always use simple ingredients like dry chilly powder , coriander powder, garlic and ginger past, termatick powder, onions, tamotos these r the ingredients they use in every curry they prepare, I know it as I from same place
This is so delicious with warm sticky rice! Made it last week. Can you put your pots and plates on mats or banana leaves? I saw sand sticking underneath the pots and plates.
some will say its a same ingredients some will say it's full of dirt some will say it's a dry fish didn't have any taste..BUT I DONT CARE AFTER watching this...I am HUNGRY😃😃😍😍😍😍😔😔😔
This man along with his son and other helpful people, cooks for themselves and for the homeless. The fish you eat usually with rice because it's either very salty or that it's filling. If you look at his 1000 eggs video, he does feed the homeless so please stop calling his videos a click bait lol.
Am telling u Indian cooking is a best ever cooking, and onion, tomatoes r very much important to cook...so daddy if they complaint u...now am telling u they don't know to cook more over they don't know exactly about village type of cooking and the beauty too daddy...so keep rocking 👌👍
The old man in his starting remarks, tries to answer those who wonder why every dish he makes has onions and tomatoes. And he goes on to say ' there is no Indian food without onions and tomatoes'.
Happy New Year to "Daddy" and grandson (who's name we have yet to hear but always helps cook and holds the camera)!!! Dried Indian fish (called "Bombay duck" because it tastes like duck in spite of being fish) makes good stews and can even be served as is, crumbled and used like a flavoring alongside pappadams and other side dishes like chutneys, wedges of lemons, limes, and purple onion. Keep up these nice videos for all of us who appreciate good Indian food! :)
This Indian peoples or what nation they are, they are alwyas doing some really big mixes lot of different things it's always so spicy with rice mostly and chicken delicious i love sauces like that + bread or rice awesome
naleera keen dried fish in my country is cooked in a variety of ways...fried..charcoal grilled and usually a flavoring to vegetable dishes specially one cooked with coconut milk.we don't have curry dear.dried fish we make it to ESCABECHE or sweet and sour.first fry dried fish(washed in cold water).in a separate pan fry garlic onion chillies(if you like)then ginger.add diced ripe tomatoes.put sugar according to desired sweetness.let tomatoes cook for a while.then put your fried dried fish.nice as side dish.or we eat this with boiled rice and coffee for breakfast
Fatima chin quirino ...ohh really wow...thx sis for the receipy..i wanna try too sis...in malaysia v cook curry, sambal n fry only...by using dried fish..
it is heavily salted and hung in the sun. Done during summer months, because fishing is banned during monsoons, as it is breeding season then. Thus, in monsoons, more dried fish are eaten.
These videos are great. Their preparation and cooking technics are amazing to see, and everyone seems to genuinely enjoy each other's company. Reading the comments on all of their videos however, is awful. The sad part is that most of them come from people that don't realize how lucky they really are. Don't take it for granted. There needs to be more compassion in the world today.
You dad is awesome cook ..he look so much like my dad ,but my dad wasn't such a great cook I really enjoy watching him cook and enjoy his meal .keep up the good work dad you rock .nuff love 😀❤💛💚
