Mid September, 2024. Fall has arrived at the higher elevations of the Colorado Mountains, so I tried to find a creek where I could get my first Fall experience of the year! To add to the magic, it was full of colorful brook trout eager to check out my dry fly!

Looks a lot like my fav streams in the Green Mtns of VT, near Manchester-Sunderland) where I use my Mizuchi. The brookies look the same size too. Colorful.

A very special thank you for this video. Every year for over 35 years I used to make my annual trek to Colorado for late summer / early fall fishing. On streams just like the one you share here. What a beautiful creek! Tenkara pocket water perfection. I mentioned I was in Colorado exactly 3 weeks ago. Amazing how much the trees changed already! We just missed the “fall foliage tour”! Nice video. Keep em coming! Neil
