I prefer shorter nails on toes

Not a fan of tips especially on toes. Short toe nails look much prettier and cleaner. Longer nails on toes can also cause damage to the nail bed and matrix when wearing close toe shoes.

I used their regular nail tips for my toes, but have to cut down and then add polish to customise it, so the fact that they've come out with toe tips is such a game changer, I love their nails

Hey Anastasia! I have a question about that! I'm looking at this toe tips now since they came out! Did you get any feeback from your customer after applying? Isnt that uncomfortable in closed shoes? Doesnt it hurt after a while when they grow out and get longer? I love your videos and your nailart! ❤

I thought you don’t recommend using ( pre design- pre colored) tips before applying the gel cause the LED light can’t get through that tips and the gel not gonna be fully cured (which can cause an allergy from the gel) not being cured enough?

For those asking about comfort... There is definitely a fine line where you need them long enough to be something of substance to actually stick on and be able to paint without making a big sloppy mess, and yet not too long to rub the wrong way. It took me a while to get it right (I only do my own nails -- not a professional at all!). Also, it can depend on the shoe as well. If I've done a perfect job of it, everything is fine in every shoe. If I've made them too thick (that's actually more often the problem when they don't feel right than length, ironically!) then it rubs wrong and can get painful. It takes practice. Regarding length... I used to strongly prefer shorter nails also... but then a podiatrist told me he gets so frustrated seeing people with very very very short toenails, like with hardly any growth at all on them -- because that's how ingrown toenails happen. So, I guess there is some rationale for having them longer. Ever since then I have tried to resist as long as possible (still not much -- I don't think mine have been as long as this, maybe at absolute maximum). I don't get ingrowns... but I was never prone to them much anyway? 😂😂
