So maddening! I thought it was the washer at first but now...this.....I dont think I can tackle this.

They almost look like black skid marks. Also doesn't help when the dryer is overloaded and stuff really doesn't have anywhere to go.

Complicated! I would have to hire a person to do this fix! Frustrating, because the dryer is only 1 year old like you said. Design flaw!
