The video of the nurse trucks loading the tanker was impressive, but this looks like it would really work great for longer distance hauls. I've never seen a frac tank used in person, so this was a really cool video. It looks like you're able to keep everybody moving independently which would be huge benefit.
I like youtubers, who talk to viewers and tell what happens. It is interesting to hear about farming in other countries all over the world. You are a good example of how a farmer should be.
We have never used frac tanks here in my region of Maryland , but I have seen them being utilized, in my many runs to John Lambs, and synergy dairys in NY.
Hi ya Andy!!! Over here we call em "NURSE TANKS"....but they are normally not custom made like your Frak one is…..here they come in the shape of a modified 20' shipping container or similar size of tank but do not have an inbuilt in agitate facility. What I hear is that they are hard on the hydraulic rams(cylinders) under the rear and almost all need a brake system added to them aswell…. some jobs may not use all the manure in them when the field is done so they transport them with slurry inside, hence the need for strong hydraulics and brakes. A front roof plate of 3/4 feet aswell as a rear one stops the splash out when travelling. Well wear on the new setup and all the best from South Coast Ireland folks!!

Looks like that will allow the hauling trucks and the spreading trucks to function independently. I think you would see a big jump in manure volume being spread. Good video,thx!!
Excellent investment Andy popular in the UK in some form or other and its only matter of time that you will have a drag line on it and the trucks will be busy to keep it going 👍
Not so bad when you are going to ressed the land but a nice umbilical system would work really well with the frac tank and reduce your compaction at the same time 👍👍
Hey Andy just watched this great nurse tank but one thing I’d change on it is the position of the axel with it being at the rear like that it need a rather large turning circle! There a company near me that makes them the largest they do is 150m3 think that works out at just over 34000 gallon. They position the single or optional tandem axel further up the body that cuts down the turning radius needed if I can I’ll send u a brochure lol they’re called slurrykat!

I like the idea of a large mobile slurry store for big livestock farms where there is a lot of slurry. Another very good and really interesting video young man, thanks! Oh and someone left an empty plastic water bottle on your rear left tyre of the frac tank (visible at 22:36 in the video) which needs collecting otherwise it could end up in something it shouldn't be in like machine or eventually a beast. Take care young man!
Unless you go to a dragline system you can't realize the full potential of the frac tank or eliminate the soil compaction caused by those big tractors and monster spreaders. If you want see real manure application check out the channel of Phil's pumping and fabrication. Draglines and dumping stations with the frac tank produce nonstop movement of manure. It also eliminates pumps on all the trucks with all maintenance they require.
That's a lot of poop pumping going on there,all well thought out and designed it looks like! I'd say not holding those trucks up waiting will really increase your daily gallons hauled! Looks like you've got lots of neighbors right there ,are they pretty understanding? I see a chisel plow there is that what's next for this field ? Thanks for the interesting video!

When you first went over the frac tank, it really didn't look to be that big. Now that you have the 8120 hooked to it, it's actually quite a bit larger than one thinks it is. Now, this raises a question, are you too concerned about killing the grass with all the traffic going to and from the frac tank? Nice to see one in action for once. It's also nice to see someone taking their time going down the road with such a large load behind them. Most tend to go full bore. Cheers :)
Would you ever consider separating the sand out of the manure as it goes into the lagoon so you do not have to handle so much volume and also help with agitation and buildup?
Man that is a lot of poop. Good concept and needed piece of equipment. As you said it helps to keep things moving. Do you have any trouble with residents complaining about the smell? Here in Ga. there is a lot of chicken poop spread and folks raise hell about the smell.

Do something to improve efficiency and 10 things immediately break to negate the improvement. lol I didn't make it to EFD this year, what are crops like in your area? I'm on the Ontario side North East of you. We were terribly wet this spring then couldn't catch a rain to save us until the first week of sept.

Is it just me or does that tractor have a backup beeper on it. My buddy has a New Holland T8050 I want to say it is but anyways it has a backup beeper on it. They use that tractor for subsoiling and I want to say it was an ex road work company tractor. That tractor has a ton of weight on the front but that subsoiler still lifts the front of that tractor off the ground and sure makes the tractor earn its keep.
