Loved seeing your Danny corn harvest success! Know how happy it makes you! Plants this year.. would not be growing anything without electric culture! Have many hostas.. that are now blooming flowers? Plants are reacting right now like it is the end of August.. beginning of September. This autumn winter.. is going to be brutal like you said. Thanks for sharing.. love from Rhode Island!
Enjoyed your cooler walk through and now watching you on Pecan Grove. We so enjoy your sharing the knowledge and virtual fellowship. Everything is early all over our area too. Have a blessed day and stay cool walking in the cooler!😊
Love having 2 videos- DSH and Pecan Grove this morning. The corn colors are beautiful! I know it’s disappointing to see pest destruction. I do like those corn hangers because they show off the colors so well! Stay blessed- Shalom!
The corn looks wonderful. I planted the seeds I won this year in hopes to have enough for a bigger lot next year. I pulled one yesterday & it's drying, just crazy in July, in SC.
ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL Danny corn!!! I love it! I was Blessed to finally get some of your seeds this year of Danny corn. It's doing great so far!! Nice and tall and dark green leaves. I only hope that the wind storms will not blow it over. And then hope that our frost will not come early (Illinois) so that I can harvest the seeds like you are doing now. Blessing to you Danny and Wanda
That is a corn forest, not a corn field. That is awesome. Congratulations on making such good looking corn. No rain in my area of Georgia is creating sad looking corn. Praying for rain ,but not a flood.
Beautiful? Most definitely. Peaceful? 😳🤣 It reminds me of a duck on a pond: calm and peaceful on the surface, and underneath paddling like no tomorrow.
You ought to build a miniature corn crib in your shop or barn. Yes everything is early, wheat was 3 weeks early all over . Please watch the heat, don't let it get the best of you. Next year put an electric fence up. It works, know many that put it around gardens and sweet corn patches. Take care and stay cool !!!!
Where can I fine Danny corn? Can I order some from you? I’m 60 years old this year and I’m just starting my journey of building a homestead, just as you said in one of your videos, it never too late to start.. If God is willing, I will see fruit from hard labor in years to come. Thank you for all you two teach me!
Love the corn videos! We bought some Danny Corn Seed from y'all & this is our 1st year growing it. I have grown sweet corn for several years. We started harvesting some Danny Corn mid July here in OK. So thankful you have taught us how to grow field corn. Also, the mic makes it easier to her when you are father from the camera. So, I think it was a benefit!
Good morning from Michigan! I sure do enjoy watching your videos. It’s like we get to share a piece of paradise with you both. I’m 58 and have learned so much from you both. Thank you for sharing and all that you do. ❤
Good day Mr. Danny and Ms. Wanda. Enjoyed the cooler video this morning. Am going to be making some of the corn dryers for our Danny corn we grew this year. It has been an odd growing year for us as well. Be praying you can get rid of your pest issues in the corn field. Have a blessed day.
So glad you shared how to make these again! I am going to make several this winter! This would be so much easier for me to store while drying than my current method! Space saving too!
Your corn is just beautiful again this year. I planted a 40x 25 patch of your corn and some reached 12 feet tall. I’m just a few weeks behind you so I enjoy your instructions. Making corn dryers this weekend. Let me know when you write the corn manual. ❤🌽❤
Good Monday morning Danny and Wanda you did an amazing job on your cooler I love how you organize it with the cooling baskets and now for the corn at Pecan Grove I've kept you guys in my prayers everyday that you would get an amazing crop this year with all the heat and bad weather going on I'm so glad your corn is doing amazing take care and God bless
I am in mid Ohio. I planted 1 packet of Danny corn in a raised bed. Wire worms got 60% of the seed. The remainder is up to about 12 ft tall and the wind is breaking some tops out right at tasseling. I still hope to get a few ears . Yours sure looks nice.
Love watching how Danny grows & processes up his Danny Corn. Beautiful corn. I havent been able to buy Danny Corn Seeds yet. Hoping at some point i will be able to get some.
I am hoping to buy a few kernels this year. We plant corn in the 30's up north here and It does just fine. Corn is in the grass family and can handle a light frost.
My Danny Corn got laid down in a storm a couple nights ago. I'm in Minnesota and planted late due to family health issues, so it is only 1.5 feet tall. Hoping for the best here though...
It's enjoyable to see the old machines in action. Thank you for keeping the history alive Danny. An auction I attended, sold a perfect corn sheller for $1500 (I didn't budget that much).
We just harvested buckets of chanterelles from our woods. I have never harvested them in the summer. Our patches usually come in during the fall. Very strange.
mornin ya'll. you be careful in that heat and standing in that cooler too long, we don't need ya'll to get pneumonia and chilled. One extreme to the other in body temp changes catches up to us older folk. Blackberries sure are beautiful and huge I agree.
I thoroughly enjoy watching and listening to your videos! They are full of good information, beautiful scenery, and excellent filming and editing. Great job, you guys!! I also need to mention Danny’s melodic voice is easy to listen to. You have a win-win product here, in my opinion.
One thing I love about the videos you and Wanda share is that they are doable. Thank you for the great information. I am implementing this on my homestead. I would love to get some of those Danny Corn seeds.
Tried to grow corn last year but the frost killed the whole crop. Only 90 days between frost here in zone 3😊. Didn’t know corn could sprout while on the stalk
Good morning Danny and Wanda, Love watching your adventures and common sense living. Is the Danny corn good for eating? Can you describe its taste? I’m 79 years old and will probably never be able to taste it but maybe you could give us a clue on taste. God Bless you both daily
Corn growth rule Knee High by the 4th of July, well with the Danny Corn they must have been talking about the Jolly Green Giants Knees. 15'-18' high corn uh uh uh never seen nothin like it Miss Wanda and Danny-never
Crops are maturing way early all over the country. Not sure exactly why, or what it means, but I'm taking it as message from Jesus to be as prepared as possible! Blessings to you and yours! ♥️🙏🏼🇺🇲
