Aaaaaayyy! This deck is fire. Why do you not add Idaten? You would have an extra engine to get the ritual spell and one more card to use Natasha's effect. Edit: Congrats to Master

Thank you! Sometimes I think about using her since we don’t have 3 Benten yet. But the deck is already so tight I’m trying to reduce the amount of cards I use. 40 cards you draw your bricks so often I don’t even wanna laugh. (Master Duel is rigged I tell ya 🫣) But I also would like to draw handtraps or anti-handtraps too. Think 42-45 might be an ok amount of cards for me.

@DivinePoWAR one more question. What do you do against Floowandereeze decks? I just played against it. Why is there even such a deck that can normal summon 1 million times? Ruler and Maxx C dont work against it. On top, he chains the summons in your turn and banishes every card you play. Is this the hard counter to this deck?

@@Goku-zu3rk Floowandereeze is a pretty good matchup against Drytron. You probably stand a better chance if you play Herald build since they just keep negating their plays. I feel like it's 50/50 depends on how our opening hands are. If you are playing Drytron here's some tips: Normal summon Diviner, send Elder Entity N'tss to kill Empen. If they have an established field, even with Empen, summon Lyrilusc - Assembled Nightingale attack directly, Xyz summon Downerd Magician, Xyz summon Zeus in defense position for double board wipe. If they summon a 2nd bird, chain Zeus wipe so they cannot tribute summon or if they can they have to waste more resources to tribute summon. I usually Forbidden Droplet the 2nd small bird before they can tribute summon. They'll need a 3rd bird in hand to recycle the 2 banished ones if you were able to get rid of them and knowing it can be bricky playing Floo, there's a decent chance they do not have other small birds in hand for a recovery. Similar to Zeus wipe on their 2nd small bird summon, Draconids can quick effect (only on their turn though) get rid of 2 small birds too. They'll need more resources to tribute summon. It can also out Empen and or other cards like Unexplored Winds and Map. After they cannot make any more plays, try to summon Natasha and steal Empen. They often don't know about this strategy and they'll use Stri to banish other Drytrons/Ritual spell in your GY instead. Preparation of Rites can make it easier to search Benten/Natasha if you have difficulty accessing them or do not have Alpha available. Map has hard once per turn effects. Let them "activate the card." Then when they choose to "activate the effect" of revealing 1 Floo bird in hand and banishing a Floo card from deck, that is your moment to chain effects to get rid of Map so even if they can recycle it that same turn, it's a dead card. Without Empen on field, most of the time a single Apollousa is enough to win you the game. If they can chain-block with their banished birds then it'll be difficult. If they have few birds in rotation then Apollousa spamming her negates should be enough. She does take a lot of resources to summon, but you should consistently be able to get to her pretty easily. You can use Lava Golem but you will not be able to normal summon/set that same turn. This shouldn't be a problem for Drytron since Diviner and Vanity's Ruler are usually the only normal summon. You should be able to combo just fine. I hear most Drytron players will steal Lava Golem back with Natasha and OTK that way. Volcanic Queen is a smaller version of Lava Golem as she only requires 1 tribute instead of 2. If you steal her back with Natasha you could use Volcanic Queen and Benten to summon Beatrice to further combo off. If you're going 1st when you're tributing Benten and you don't need to add to hand another combo piece off of her search, you can add Artifact Lancea (to prevent banishing) or Orange Light negate if you already have another Fairy in hand. Lancea can only work on their turn but their plays become very awkward and it's difficult to recover their small birds now that they're in GY instead of banished. With Map and Gold Sarc limited to 1, it should be low odds they can chain-block your Orange Light negate on their first turn. If you are going 2nd and Floo has a set Dreaming Town, it's risky but you can bluff them and force them to activate it early so they cannot Stri banish your GY and flip your monsters face down. Do not play any cards on your Main Phase 1, try to enter Battle Phase. They will think you have Evenly Matched so they will force Dreaming Town and try to get to Apex Avian for a negate. At least now you pretty much know exactly what you are dealing with. The game with ask if you still want to end Main Phase and enter Battle Phase, say no and continue with your Main Phase 1.

@DivinePoWAR those are great tips to deal with it. I need to remember those. That bait with dreaming town is pretty nice. Once again: thank you!

How about using the Kaiju Jizukiru? Amorphactor or any cyber angel just needs that Kaiju for Ritual Summoning. Also, a Kaiju is always nice when you did not draw good and need to get rid of a monster.
@densai89
@densai89 11 месяцев назад
Using Jizukiru as ritual fodder is possible but Drytron Meteonis Draconids and Drytron Meteonis Quadrantids (the 4000 ATK rituals) can fill that role also and they’re searchable. But 99% of the time you will not be able to use a kaiju to tribute opponent’s monster as that is its main intended purpose. Kaijus can conflict with Drytron due to their summoning conditions. Kaijus do not state on the card: “Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.” so you cannot special summon them if you also want to special a Drytron. If you really want to, you have to choose between special a kaiju or special a Drytron as you cannot do both in that same turn. You can normal summon/set it by tributing two of your own monsters but who wants to do that? Other card’s restrictions are more lenient where the restriction states you cannot do “X” for the rest of the turn after this effect resolves but Drytrons are more harsh because it counts for the entire turn, including before and after you attempt to special a Drytron. This is why Drytron decks play Lava Golem, Volcanic Queen, Kurikara Divincarnate as their kaijus as they cannot be normal summoned/set. Some like to opt for Volcanic Queen over Lava Golem because some people play around Lava Golem by having only 1 monster on field and Volcanic Queen only tributes 1 monster. Kurikara was a strong choice during full power Kashtira in the TCG as Kashtira extra deck monsters activated their effects on your turn before you get to Main Phase 1, making Kurikara available right away and can get rid of more than 2 monsters at a time. Theoretically, you can play The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode since it counts as a Normal Summon kaiju-like effect. Almost every Drytron card has this restriction on the card: “You cannot Special Summon monsters, except monsters that cannot be Normal Summoned/Set, the turn you activate this effect.” Let me simplify that restriction so it’s easier to understand because it took me a while to fully grasp this concept. If you want to special summon a monster on your own turn, that monster you are attempting to special summon must state in the text box “Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set.” By game mechanics all Extra Deck monsters and Ritual monsters cannot be normal summon/set so they do not state this restriction in the text box and you are free to special summon them. This can be seen as a big weakness of a Drytron deck as every summon in the main deck is built around this restriction. Here is are some scenarios: Some people used to play Spright Elf in extra deck so they can special Herald of the Diviner from GY with Elf’s effect. However, they can only special summon Diviner on opponent’s turn as Drytrons restrict her special summon on your turn. Diviner does not state “Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set” in her text box so attempting to special her is not allowed the same turn you special a Drytron. Drytrons do not special summon on opponent’s turn so you are free to use Elf to reborn Diviner on opponent’s main phase, send Elder Entity N’tss to destroy one card. Kurikara can reborn opponent’s monster at end phase, but the restriction applies so you can’t just reborn a Kashtira Fenrir from their GY as the optimal choice, you must choose Kashtira Shangri-Ira since it’s a monster that cannot be normal summoned/set. When Drytron was initially released in the TCG, people played Psy-Framegear Gamma. Emergency Teleport was a way to summon it and help you go into Herald of the Arc Light for a floodgate and omni-negate. You have PSY-Framegear Gamma in hand but it can only negate on opponent’s turn as it special summons PSY-Frame Driver (a normal monster so it doesn’t state cannot be normal summon/set in text box). If you choose to negate on your turn (they Ash Blossom your Drytron Alpha Thuban’s effect to search a ritual) you just locked yourself out of Drytron special summons for the whole turn.

@DivinePoWAR alright, thanks for the clarification. So drytron even restricts the summons from the graveyards. Crazy! Very special condition and interaction.

I used all original music currently found within the game in Master Duel. I rip the audio from the game files and just overlay it onto the video. If it’s a song you’re not familiar with, it’s most likely music used in solo missions. I’m too scared to get copyright strike for using other music. Maybe in the future, but I’m not comfortable doing it now.
