I just bought a ds from you for my sister for Christmas. I can’t wait to play Mario party and Mario kart with her again. Memory lane

Heck yeah dude!! Mario kart and Mario patty are such fun games especially with friends and fam. Memory lane indeed! I remember playing them on the bus ride to school with all the other students... good times 😌 I hope you and your sister have a blast!!

For shoulder buttons just using isopropil alcohol is enough, just drip some with a syringe, repeatedly push the button to dissolve dirt than dry. Repeat a few times if not working, i have fixed several with this method none came back

Gotcha, okay I'll definitely give that a go next time! Thank you so much! I don't have a syringe, but if I brush it with a toothbrush that I dipped in IPA, I think it should still get enough of it inside of the button

You seem to be pretty good at repairs! I've never repaired consoles but I love watching these videos. Do you ever plan on selling your repaired consoles, or is it just for fun?

Thank you so much!! I love repairing these things, I'll be posting all kinds of different videos 😁 And I do sell these consoles! I've been fixing and selling these on eBay for over 3 years now. At some point, I hope to open up a website to sell them on :)

Why swap the border if you can just swap the whole motherboard with the screen? It's not like they are region lock or something 😅

True, I didn't think of that. Swapping the whole board requires more disassembly, but would still save time. Good thinking! I'll probably do that in the future
