Adam is no match for Focal, Focal is level up, in a stereo image and clarity, I have em both, and I am selling Adam, Adam is hyped in the His and Lows, and lacking mids, a smile shape, hifi like. Adam is too much hyped on RU-vid. Also both lacking sub end, that's why I bought a Fluid Fx80 to complement Focal, and my future plan is to buy Alpha 65 Evo, or wait for Alpha 80 Evo in Q2 of 2022 (thats what I been told in Player Music Store in Belgrade).
Good job with your Focal ambassadorship, but you have exaggerated it. Things you say about Adam T5V could maybe happen with worse placement in the room and even then it's easily fixable with a little EQ. I love these Alpha Evo 50's too, but I wouldn't say they're objectively way better. I had both and liked Adams better in near field listening.
There seems to be a bit more depth with the focal, not sure if it's coloured or more definition. The high end of the Adam doesn't make it any easier for me to make up my mind. Great comparison yet again. 👍🏿
I was listening to this comparison on my Eris E5s and I realized that how could Eris show me the differences of two better quality speakers. they are actually sounding Both Like Eris When listened through Eris :)) But with my new received Sennheiser HD400pro I can tell The differences and I'm shocked that either of these speakers are far better than Eris E5. Now I'm just realizing the differences, I Think Focal sounds more present because of 500 and 1000Hz boost/ and the bass is really good. The only downside is the It's price, but except that, they are perfect for me. So I'm going to purchase adams soon and that's gonna be a great Update over my e5s. and finally, I like all your videos and Thank you for being Informative. And as a feedback, please just play the same part of the music for both speakers. or at least make the time each speaker is playing shorter so it changes faster. for example, intro of the a song is played on speaker1 and the chorus is on the other.
I think focal have a better attack and decay and is more laid back, I like the focal more for to music listening, adams are are better for mixing all more tight. I guess its all subjective and you should pick what you like. They are both very good monitors

It's hard to compete with the Adams. Lows are better on Adams, mids can be perceived as better on Focals, but they sound like from a barrel (hifi sound). Highs are comparable (maybe too sharp for the most on Adams). Imaging is better on Adams due to the ATM tweeter.
all I can add to this is while I had Focal speakers and subwoofers for decades in 3 different cars, the speakers always sounded "aggressive" in this video I slightly recognize that as the mids on the focal sound too much, now it's hard for me to say in this video focals sound better for some track adam for others
Also by looking at the frq. response graphic I might think of a better attack and decay response with the Focals, although poeple say that the ribbon twitter is really good too
@@andreslizarazo7074 i bought the Focal Alpha Evo 50. i am very happy from the choice. they are just amazing. best sound ever (for me). i dont have a way to compare to Adam T5V.
For me Adam is better here. more pronounced balance midrange, & has an accurate high-end. While the Focal has something kind of weird highend presence.
@@ashwanthjerry2210 I think you have to re-dsp it for the room, have dry room with low reverberation, and high shelf down since Adam are bright speakers I think. I personally don't know how to mix on them but maybe others do, might have a steep learning curve

Long night is not a good track for comparison. All sounds are electronic, quite awfull sounding too, and the only natural sounds are two allmost the same boring voices. Also bass is not great, so I always skip that track. The rest is much, much better an I love your vids a lot!
Я даже в затычках samsung buds 2 слышу что нет, на focal глубже НЧ, направленность ВЧ разная…. Да и в целом, у меня были t5v, НЧ у них так себе, деталей маловато будет, а вот ВЧ твиттер очень хорош!
