The comment section is really sad. These performances at Wagah border are done in order to promote peace and show a gesture of friendship and mutual respect between the two countries. The performance also symbolizes that they were at one point a single nation. All the "patriots" from both Pakistan and India who are commenting should know the purpose of this performance and learn to respect each other as the way these soldiers respect their counterparts.

Hello, I researched and found most of the answers I originally had.. although I was wondering about these 2 guys at the beginning of this video.. it seems the crowd reacts to their movements.. is there meaning behind their gestures? For example, when the guy in the black uniform brings his left hand up to the right side of his face or the “chest pumps?” (how they puff up their chest) or the guy in the brown uniform slapping his arm.. I do understand (for the most part) these movements in American culture as bravado, I was just wondering if there are deeper meaning to their gestures?
