Thanks for your sharing! I totally agree with you. I wish I had taken a gap year before entering university so I knew I wanted to be a teacher as my career, and I could have done Education for four years with a QTS back then. But I am glad I completed my degree in Sociology and Criminology (it sounds very cool😎but I hate criminology!). And now, I am doing my teaching training. I agree that DSE is not the only way as nowadays we can always go back to uni and work ourselves through to the future job. And there are more options than before, so don't be discouraged by the results. It's lifelong learning, and to be honest, no one will ask you about your grades when you get a job. You can always resit a paper to get a higher score. It's good to take a year off, a working holiday or a part-time job before making the final decision, and you can always change the field later in your life. Keep trying, and don't give up on learning!💪💪💪

Thank for sharing your regrets. Long time ago, my dad told me to learn a degree which could make a lot of money….so you have to make a choice between self interest and money.

Oh, Miss Maggie, looks like we have the same Aviation background. But the different thing is I am doing the preparation to join the Cathay cadet program soon😁 On the other hand, holy cow, you were a air traffic controller!??

My major was accounting + economics, but I am teaching piano full time with success. Totally agree with what you said, change field if u don't like it, why stick with it for the rest of your life. My uncle said but you have spent 4 years university on it. -_- my rest of my life is > 4 years. This is a simple math. Come on!

With all due respect, Maggie, I think your comment in the video is not very helpful, but it’s so comforting to hear you don’t regret. I wish I’d done things differently😂.

I don't think you made any mistakes, each of us has our own individual experience, at that time there is no so call right or wrong, it is not fair to judge yourself you had done something immature, u can see is a process to let you understand yourself more....not bad at all

There are no mistakes in life. Only lessons. All the "what if" scenarios are meaningless...your life's experience made who you are today.

Fortunately, I knew I wanted to be an artist when I was only three. That’s why I chose general design and art major during college. I am running my own business related to art right now. Although my income isn’t stable, I gained freedom and feel so relaxing. I’m happier than some of my friends who chose a major or job they didn’t like. Thank God for giving me this passion at such a young age! ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏
