DSG Shunter Hauling Lengthy Y35 Shunt 

There is a shunter based full time at the Edendale Railyards, and it shunts the Fonterra Milk Factory at Edendale, the Daiken Medium Density Fibreboard Plant at Brydone, and the two Alliance Plants at Mataura.
To save time for the mainline trains, the shunter will drop off and collect wagons from these three factories and will either haul the wagons to Mataura or Edendale to be dropped off ready for collection by a mainline service.
Here we see Y35 hauling the wagons dropped off in Edendale by the southbound 919 train service up to the Daiken Medium Density Fibreboard Plant at Brydone.
