Hi Marcia, since February that i´ve my gv650 and i´m in love. My car has a layer of dust on top. The only problem in the begining was the weight, i´ve fell twice when stopped because it was to heavy and the road wasn´t helping. But when you ride you just want to go and don´t want to stop, it´s just amazing. I totally agree with this review, but for us the only problem is the weight, for that you just need to be careful and put the Engine Guard, it was my guardian. maybe i´ll some videos. :)

I'm not a cruiser person, but I've liked the looks of the GV650's since the first time I saw one. Throw in what's basically an SV650 engine and you have an awesome bike. Well, if it wasn't for the instrument panel and reputation for lots of electrical and mechanical gremlins anyway. Feels like it could fit in with the "M" model Boulevards Suzuki makes which I also like.

Hi Guys, a little help. I am confused between Ninja 650R and this one! Though I like cruisers, I am really afraid of Hyosung's braking. my earlier GT650R got free brakes in traffic more than often and the HEATT! Now again this one gets me thinking if I should try Nina now? I ride almost everyday, height is 5'7 and weigh average. Also are 2013 Ninja 650 and Ninja 650R diff. bikes? If so, are they both available in India? Bajaj website says only 650R but I saw your review of 2013 Ninja 650!

Any word on when the gv250 is gonna roll out of dsk India's stables? Going by the international reviews of the baby it looks a winner 80 mpg. Cruises at 90 mph n costs a meager $3999(out the door) in the us. Plus everyone who owns one seems to sing songs about how their 2 yr warranty(parts and labor) was barely used. Any info on india launch dates would be highly appreciated.

I saw elsewhere where a reviewer said the shifting is not smooth. I see where 5:51 you say the "gearbox is clunky" but that you didn't have problems with "false neutrals."

I own one and ridden it up to 200kmh and still goingfaster once. Quite scary if not use to high speed run. Ridden a GT250 and other bike before. The GV650/Aquila Pro 650 is one of the best both long and everyday use, with some tweak to match your on body type and positioning of course.

+Maikal LurvKat How's it going? A lot of people are confused about the sales and service part. How has your experience been?

Some good some bad.. Did some mod on it... Other than the notorious leaking radiator problem that every owner have.. And faulty rectifier.. Seem to be running quite good.. Radiator problem? Easy just take out the thermostat, it doesn't need one to run. Rectifier? Use other rectifier that can hold better voltage.. Mod that i made? Change handle bar to using riser and drag handle bar. Standard very heavy exhaust to 2 into 2 exhaust then reconfigure the ecu. Add custom a sisy bar with rack for bag and other for long rides. Custom diy belting to chain and sprocket since the rear pulley is use up way faster than then belting and front pulley. Diy custom paint job using spray can(yeah SPRAY CAN). For parts, since the company that brought it in and assembled it is less than 50km away, its easy to ask and find parts for it. I also mix some parts from other bikes than doesn't effect the safety of the bike itself..

hey guys... I'm riding avenger220 from last 30 months... now want to upgrade. I have rode yamaha rx135, previously so I also like cafe racer and classics both. bt this made me puzzled to choose between um renegade commando, re STD 500 & continental gt...can u help me to pick up my next bull?

Your safest bet is to wait for the Avenger 400 (with the detuned Duke 390 engine) or the recently launched Dominar. I've an Avenger 220 too, and there have been times I needed more power. Renegade's after sales isn't tested, STD 500 is too bulky and loud, GT does'nt offer comfort of a cruiser, cause it's a cafe racer.

sexy review PD... Especially the beginning part...that was very innovative & interesting... Though I'd suggest to pump up the vocals by about 20-25% more & reduces the SFX by 10%...

In the usa they are called the gv650. The biggest mistake i ever made in my life was selling mine. I put 30,000 miles on mine and only had one issue. The rear brake kept sticking. Easy fix but i lost my job and had to move so i sold it😞 Biggest mistake ever!

Cruisers can be quite comfortable over long distances,whereas sport-bikes are usually track focused. It depends on what your preference is.
