As always, it baffles me that he has an insane amount of trouble on something that maybe 85% of people didn't have trouble on. I just finished fighting him(another fantastic boss fight) recently, and got an A. 20:35 Woooooow, lmao.

I decided to search for this DSP guy after re-watching Matt and Pat's MGRR Monsoon fight.. They keep making fun of this dude and I was thinking, "How bad could it be?" After watching the video I'm like.. "Jesus Christ... My brain can't even comprehend how awful that was... and he was blaming the fucking game for his lack of skills.."

In the span of time it took Phil to defeat Monsoon, Monsoon was able to throw all the worlds attack choppers and APCs. Twice.

Not gonna lie. Monsoon with a chipmunk voice sounds quite hilarious.

I'll admit I'm not the best Metal Gear Rising player (I didn't access the store until Monsoon), but I at least new how to fucking parry unlike Phil.

Coming next summer, Alvin and the Chipmunks Rising: Resqueakgeance. Hearing Monsoon and Stains of Time sped up like that was hilarious.

I will admit, the first time I fought Monsoon I died a lot. Mostly because I didn't really know what to do. But eventually after looking up guides I finally beat him. Sure it was infuriating but I just needed a little push.

Monsoon is a skill check of a boss effectively he is 2 bosses one is a fun challenge that shows you how good you've gotten and the other is a troll that will meme on you for sucking

He takes a fantastic game, fights the second best boss fight (second only to Armstrong), and does just what I expected: Crapped himself all over it.

I wish these fights never gave you too much healing items. Maybe just 2 and that's it. They give too many during these boss fights

I only watched the chipmunk-voiced fight over and over. It was hysterical hearing such threatening things coming from such an adorable voice.

I gave my gf a controller in her hands and my copy of Metal Gear Revengence the first time today. She beated Monsoon in 10 minutes and now parries greatly.

first time I played with monsoon,I knew how to perfect my dodge,my blocks and my parries,I didn't use any secondary grenades or launchers,I didn't die or used any rations on my first try,how the fuck did phil forget that there's block and parrying in this game ?

The worst part isn't that he can't parry, because you can beat monsoon without it. The worst thing is that he doesn't even use the doge move that also counterattacks. Instead he sprints and jumps all over the place like a moron. GG DSP.

I may not have Parrying(where you attack as part of the block) down pat yet, but I have the blocking down to a science and this is painful to watch

Phil commits all of the Deadly Sins due to his Giant ego, a jealous attitude towards people like Tobuscus, laziness, wanting only the best things like a special hotel suite, a BMW, or several gaming headsets, and recieving paychecks via playing video games and eating food. lol

I lost it when he failed the finishing move, I don't think I failed that bit one single time in the dozen or so time's I've played through the game, not even on my first playthrough. I mean, the game has introduced the concept that finishing moves might involve QTE's a fair few times by then, anybody with a basic level of understanding should know to be ready for them in a situation like that.

As someone who has completed the game on Revengeance, this is difficult to watch. How did he even manage to complete the other bosses without learning how to block?

How do you even play MGR without figuring out blocking? I blocked pretty consistently just by button mashing.

The worst part about this is that he literally did EVERYTHING wrong this fight, but the game still let him beat it... Why? I'm so sick of game devs making their games baby proof…

It's clear that DSP read a walkthrough, saw one sentence about using the EMP grenades and decided that they were the instant win tool of this fight. This is the best fight in this damn game, and he sucks at it and thinks its terrible... Typical DSP

That would be the Nano-paste that can be used like rations in this game. (You lose all your HP, the rations/Nano-paste restores you back to full heath minus some of the damage you may have taken from the attack)

I just bought this game today and beat this boss on my 2nd try. It's really not that hard.

I have to play MGR again to scrub the filth off of watching DSP's lack of skill. (Though I wonder how bad he'd be on Revengeance.)

Oh yeah, I remember this boss, I died like 2 times to him. Why? Because I only played the game for like 20 minutes on a freaking showcase PS3 that had this game in it, so I still wasn't used to the blocking, but I figured on the first few seconds of this boss that I woul need to freaking parry. But seeing this makes me want DSP to play Ninja Gaiden Sigma just to see him get freaking mangled by the first enemy.

Ok, I also did a DSP moment the first time encountered Monsoon. BUT, I decided to play the tutorial (because Im such a dumbass to not to play the tutorial at that time) to know how to parry/block. And because of that, I got no problem facing Monsoon but Im still getting hit lol.

I liked the Walter JR clip when you showed the disabled ratings and comments.

Wait, you can block the giant spinning chunk of trash? That would have made the fight a lot shorter when I played it.
