My favorite part is when he complains about drive impact bc when he does it, his opponents are actually awake and can react and when it’s getting done to him, pigroach can’t react. It’s so blatant that he can’t even come up with an excuse so he just says “I should never use it dood!”
This is why I love Street Fighter. This series is supposed to be his profession, the game that put his name on RU-vid, the one precious franchise that he can pretend to be the most knowledgeable about. He comes off as someone who knows all the skateboarding slang, but has never actually boarded.

He loses Drive on Dhalsim faster than any other character because Dhalsim is the only character he blocks on LOL First time I've ever seen him hold down back
I have to ask, if he's trying to learn the character, then why is he in ranked? I suppose learning as you go is a thing, but he's clearly not very good at that.
I'd say that the natural course of learning is Training Room, CPU, then ranked. Learn some moves, test against the bots and see how it can be applied in a somewhat real match, then fight against another player. Add the fact that YT has a bunch of creators helping you understand fundamentals and that SF6 has frame data in training mode AND replays, it's hard not to improve.
He has fundamental misunderstandings of the game that will never allow him to get better. He legit needs to learn the bare bone basics before he can even start fighting.

Pretty sure he's already played all characters on sf6. Yet he's expect us to believe "oh [insert his opponent moves] always stop everything i do" excuse. I never play any fighting game but even i can call on his bs after watched 1 or 2 detractors vid.
i’ve played fighting games for about 2 years (20-something less than phil), sf6 less than phil, and i can confidently say i could beat him easily because he refuses to learn or change up his gameplan. all he can do is make excuses to feed his ego

I love that in 2023... DPS still cries about not being able to block, "I was buffering and didn't press the button", etc. All the while playing on a stick and he can hear him slapping the buttons. I'd still pay money to see his actual inputs on screen.
Another youtuber showed how to look up all his matches with inputs. Can't remember the name of the channel but should be easy to find with youtube search.
There's a channel that does match replays of a lot of DSP grind to masters recently. Just search "Sf6 DSP dirge" and it'll be the top result. It's the best "My brother in christ we have reciepts" content I've seen in years.

Phil's also the only Dhalsim player I've ever seen to actively *never* use a single teleport, and that's been a thing since SF4. EDIT: He did teleport... with absolutely no Drive meter, so he gets gangbanged in the corner. Phil needs to drop this game. He's just awful.
I remember that woolie from SBFP, said that as you get older you won’t get better at fighting games, your reflex get slower and more. If DSP in he’s peak could do okay, no wonder he’s completely trash now
My guy, it's not a random jump in, if they jump over your poke or fireball and punish you with a combo. Also, if you people are reacting to your drive impact then you are using it wrong.

6:23 this one just annoys me to be honest, we all know DSP is actually not as good as he thinks he is and makes excuses, but holy shit this one is such a blatant example of him being bad. DSP threw out a long reach attack, and then a fireball, the Guile waited for him to mess up, and punished it with a jump in. It wasn't a "random jump." The Guile played well and punished DSP's random nonhitting move spam by jumping over and landing a combo. It is literally a text book example of someone playing poorly and then getting punished for it. The fact that DSP is constantly doing this is soo embarrassing and I couldn't ever imagine acting like this personally...

Love how baffled he was all this stream that he couldn't true blockstring off a blocked fireball into DI in corner. It says outright in corner "LOCKED" to imply that you can't do that because that'd be an unblockable.

I find Hilarius the lack of skill and adaptability of "GAME SUCKS BC NOT HARD AS SF4" players. This guy and LTG are the same drops of garbage water coming out from a McDonald's waste in an alley. At least the salt is incredible, keep up the good content my man!
