when installing this do you need a fuse for the power wire going to the DSP, if so what amp fuse do I need 1 amp or 2 amp I'm assuming. And do I need to connect all four channels from my head unit or can I just use the rear left and right? Or is it best to connect all 4 channels front left and right and rear left and rear right. The instructions are not that detailed.
The DSP68 would use a 1 amp fuse and you can run all 8 channels of output with only 2 channels of input. The DSP46 would also use a 1 amp fuse but it would need all 4 channels of input whether using y connectors from with 2 channels from the source or 4 channels from the source.
@@ADDesignsCarAudio thanks for the info, I will run all four channels from the head unit and wire the 12 volt with a 1 amp fuse. I just did not want to damage anything I thought I would do my research first before installing, thanks.
