Yeah when Craig first announced you being a guest on Side Scrollers even when you told him not too, that was a red flag for me. I mean it's common sense in Phil's case keep it a secret till the actual interview. I watched it. Adam is a douchebag, unprofessional. The fact they pretended to not have Keem on by asking if you want him on to talk he'll tweet Keem but later on Keem appeared showed they already had it planned. Not to mention they lied about Mario Kart. Awful

Listened to this whole thing as a neutral party, thought this Adam guy was an idiot (in fact he was playing a character himself because he chopped and changed between being a nice guy, then being in idiot, which I think was all part of the plan going in), and now I think he's being disingenuous to enhance his brand if I'm being honest, or he came in with preconceptions and didn't even listen to the responses DSP gave. I thought the interview would make DSP look bad but thought he came across well.

Might have been better off being interviewed by Destiny even though Phil doesn't like his interview style. He doesn't worry about giving a hot take even if it means siding with Phil, and he has way more subscribers.

Im pretty 50/50 split on this. On one hand, i do think they had good intentions initially and wanted to give Phil a chance or two, mostly to come clean, but also to potentially give evidence and clear his name. Phil didnt really present anything other than his word, and he just has a tendency to keep talking in long winded circles. By the time Phil felt comfortable giving evidence, Craig/Adam felt it was too late and anything presented couldve been faked by then, which is kinda true. Theres concrete evidence that can be presented at any point, but Phil doesnt feel comfortable sharing it. Its his right, but he needs to understand his word only goes so far. On the other hand, its obvious theyre loving all the money and attention and dog piling on Phil. The keemstar appearance made it pretty clear that theyre going for drama and gasps with Phil's appearance, and Craig's whole #monetizethe haters thing shows theyre riding this wave as far as they can for clout.

I also fully believe that if you don't like someone on youtube, don't watch them. I will never understand why people keep watching dsp and harassing him if the haters hate him. They are all disgraceful pieces of garbage

Phil, genuine advice: don’t do these interviews. The only way you’ll benefit from it is that big RU-vidrs interview you. But those guys won’t care because they’re busy doing their stuff. The Quartering is the only positive thing you did publicly, because your trolls couldn’t hurt him. And don’t do ReviewTechUSA, he’s in the same situation like you even though he has lots subscribers. He likes to dump on you to make him feel better, but his channel is dying. But can you blame these smaller guys want to make money from drama? I checked out the interview from a detractor perspective and I think those guys seem slimy. So eager and excited for clicks and chats and views, just a bit embarrassing and disingenuous. I didn't know much about Side Scrollers at the time but I was surprised to see Adam. I used to watch Tim Pool when Adam was on his podcast. He was screwed over by Tim & a lot of people sided with Adam. I was totally surprised by his biased questions. You've had a checkered internet past but from what I can see, you've also changed a lot. You seem to have made a lot of self-improvements. That said, perhaps the rest of the internet has changed as well, but for the worse. Don't worry about this, Phil. There were a lot of reasons for people to attack you in the past but I think Intelligent people can plainly see that you are being treated unfairly. C'mon man! I come from the “detractor community” and I was actually proud of you. Do I believe you were being honest? Not entirely. But in all honesty, most of what people give you shit over isnt anyones business. You stayed there and answered their questions for a ridiculous amount of time and were willing to keep going. I thought the side scroller dudes did a good job not holding back but their follow up stream was really cringe. They could have moved on and back to normal business instead of another stream trying to garner views and tips off your back. Been watching DSP Since 2008,we all make mistakes we are humans,but we all gotta admit that over these years his playthroughs made us laugh and I don't mean that in a bad way,so what if he was really bad in his certain playthroughs,what matters at the end was the hillarious commentary and the funny memories we all have(Metal gear solid 2,3,Indigo prophecy,Jak 2,Assassins creed Ezio trilogy,Heavy Rain,Dead Rising 2,GTA series,Resident evil 2)these playthroughs always stick to me because of the good hillarious memories I have. Phil's biggest mistake was trying to play nice with them even when they were disrespecting him in his face and were clearly getting egged on by the detractors. Keemstar suddenly appearing should of been the biggest red flag for you. No one who respects their guests, would even think about inviting someone with history towards the current guest. You need to be able to tell the difference between people laughing at you and people laughing with you. You were clearly the butt of the joke during that interview/interrogation. After the interview, you were the only person who truly thought Side Scrollers had done a good, respectful job with the interview.
