President of the Nigerian Labour Congress, NLC, Joe Ajaero. In a new twist to the issue, operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS arrested Ajaero at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. Ajaero was preparing to board a flight to the United Kingdom for an official assignment, when he was detained by the DSS. According to reports, he has been handed over to the National Intelligence Agency, NIA for further questioning.

Ajero doesn't own NLC, NLC is not a political party where the structure should be used for personal battles. DSS is an institution of state, for the good of Nigeria. Do not use NLC for personal vandetta or battle.
