I used to have a red and white dt that was on a J reg. My dad bought me it when my mum went on holiday for 2 weeks and then my mum sold it when she came home. I was so happy and then so sad all in a couple of weeks.
Long way to College - Takes me back as an 18yr old I was lucky enough to have one the first DT125LC’s in the country and loved it!! Before that was a DT80 and an ER50 such fun times living in Cornwall 👍
When I first had drove one of these I felt so comfortable it was really smooth to ride nothing like a proper dirtbike it builds it's speed up most reliable bike I have had never really needed work
I had one with the motor power valve ..bored out to 175 with trick exhaust the clocks would only show 80mph. It would go soo fast the front mudguard would nearly bend off. I had to put small Mudguard. Because of tank slappers. It used to zoom past every single other fast lane vehicle like scary style. Estimated if brave as 115 mph. That’s take off speed. Loved that giant killer. lol I also had a HONDA RS 250 chassis with FT 500cc engine. That was a wheelie bike giant killer. I’m old now. I’ve got a ford van 2L sorry
I really Ike Yamaha 2 strokes motorcycles and missing the past. My favorite models start from 1982, 1983, 1989 - 2000 DT 125 2 stroke S liquid cooling engine. 125LC, 125R and so on.
I had one of these new in 1983 i managed to buy the unrestricted version and pretended it was a 12bhp learner one to comply with the law lol. Easy in those days.... Was a fun bike little with a great torque curve. Coming off my SS50 at 17 & onto this power beast wow🤣🤣
Hello, I was wondering if it is advisable to go on the track with full throttle for a long time as shown in the video? thanks in advance, I have a 200 lc and it is a very fast motorcycle
@@jordangroombridge374 so you still hAvE iT??? cool I have a dt175 ac supertrail and a old 125 ac that im selling because ive spotted an white lc on marketplace really exited (keepin the 175 doe)
10 minutes of driving... i wouldn't consider that far. I know people that drive an hour to and back. I would too, especially if your home is something special...
