For the 90's DTM Racer, I'm so RESPECT to all driver for the 90's DTM Racer coz in that year car was built with not a lot of high technology as like now, it's all about between driver, skill, guts & PRIDE with the car without traction control, seems I was watch this video, I really missed so much & unforgettable, it's been long time.

I think i thumped up every "racinginslowmotion" video..and surprise! i did it again! even before watching it^^

I'm so glad I experienced this in my childhood. The season opener called "Bergischer Löwe" in Zolder 1993 was my very first motorsport event at the track. I'm so glad all this footage exists in such amazing quality considering the time it originates from. But then, I'm also sad that the photographers had to shoot film and use inferior lenses compared to the 10.000 Euro lenses Canon offers today and their 1D X Mark II camera that shoots 14fps with full AF and metering and you simply save to 256GB cards instead of a 36 exposure rolls of film - or 120fps 4K video footage with the 30,000 Euro C700 EOS Cinema camera

You can really appreciate the beauty of these cars in slo mo. Great job. keep it up! +++

Man soll ja nicht immer rumheulen, dass früher alles besser war aber DAS war auf jeden Fall besser als die DTM von heute. Die Autos haben wenigstens noch ähnlich ausgesehen wie die Serien Autos für die Straße.

Agree Bryan! Todays DTM cars are basicly openwheelers with a body stuck on top, so not really touring cars anymore :P

Even if you become from a few Guys Thumbs Down, you are 100% right. The Guys who give you Thumbs Down know nothing about Motorsport. Yes DTM is the German NASCAR. DTM is the German Touring Car Class. And NASCAR is the US Touring Car Class. NASCARs are Silouette Cars the same like DTM. And both Cars are Perfectly build to the Local Racetracs. DTM would smoke NASCAR on Hockenheim and Nürburgring. And NASCAR would smoke DTM on Talladega and Indianapolis.

I said this earlier to another guy on here. I mean in the sense it hardly resembles the cars they represent on the track. Today's DTM is essentially an f1 car with a body.

These were the good old days of touring car racing, when drivers didn't have to worry about tyre wear. These days, touring cars is just too conservative, the cars are already at their limits when going around corners, so nobody tries to dive bomb corners / create a passing opportunity.

Idc what anyone says the 155 v6 engine is tbe best engine ever made so reliable and so powrrful 489 hp, 221 ft lbs trq, weighs 990 kg, awd smh cant get any better than that i dather drive that car than fw25 or hell even mp4/6

that's the evolution of the australian V8 Supercars. the greates touring car series nowadays in my opinion.

I was speaking for how the cars at one point resembled models you could buy off the show room floor. Now they have both have become just race car chassis with a body that kinda sorta looks like a street car.
