@@DalozsanTheFox I just took out the CD-ROM just to be able to answer your question. On the cover it just says DTM 3-D Fahrsimulation (German title obviously) by CDsoft, dated June 1995 and officially licensed by ITR, ZDF and 3sat. It also includes an encyclopedia. Graphics wise the scenery looks like Microprose Formula One Grand Prix but a SVGA 640x480 256 colors and the cockpit looking a bit more modern, roughly between Stunts and The Need for Speed. It has the real dashed of at least the Mercedes C-class and the Alfa-Romeo 155Ti but IIRC the Opel Calibra, too. It simulates the 1994 season. They also must've aimed to make a sim instead of arcade racer since the manual discourages you strongly to use the keyboard at least for steering. System requirement is at least a 486DX 66 and that's why I only played it once because it was just too slow on my 486SX 33 and on the faster PCs I got after that I didn't run Windows 3.x which meant I could never try the game again. I'm into classic computers and games and look forward to the day that I can finally try the game on an appropiate machine. I also plan to make an entry for the game on MobyGames.

Did they have license?

Cars are stated as being the official for their competition, that being the 1996 "world touring car" season: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YHJBxOBM4Rg.html DTM "died" in 1996, and in that final season it was officialy labeled as ITC (international touring car championship)
