High tech touringcar racing at it´s best. The series is really at the all time high but so is technolegie. The 3 brands Alfa, Opel and Mercedes pushing the limits & the next two years the cars are more complicated then a Formula 1.
AMG Mercedes with Bernd Schneider really dominates this year taking all 3 championships.

I wish there was somewhere online where you could read more about setup, general specs of the cars aside from horsepower, detailed pictures. Especially what suspensions they were running and more stuff about the chassis. If anybody knows of any resources let me know please!

That year my parents took me to a race (Diepholz) for the first time - they were Bernd Schneider fans. I'm hooked to this series ever since. I must show them this videos!!!

Danke Nicki, ein tolles Dokument einer großartigen Motorsportära. Wirds wohl so nie wieder geben. Seufz. Trivia: Der Sprecher ist übrigens Otto Clemens, österreichische Stimme für alles wichtige. Find ich als Ösi lustig. Und die Rocknummer am Anfang ist wohl von der Band "Almost Pink Floyd" lol

Off topic. Can you please make a video about Automobilista 2 and how it compares to iracing and ACC in terms off realism? Even though Automobilista 2 is only in early acces atm.

Nicki Thiim yeah I completely understand. I have two young kids myself and I’m thankful that my work allows me to spend that much time with them. Enjoy your family life and maybe in the future there will be a feedback from you about AMS2. Would be cool cause we value ur opinion. Also immer VOLLGAS Nicki und viel Spaß mit deiner Fam!

Old DTM- ITC- New DTM STW was something separate

DTM in The mid 90’s tried to go int. But many will say that is what killed it back then. STW has always been around but really came through because DTM died. New DTM is something else and a product living on the name that was once very very popular.
