How is it possible that a problem I’m struggling with is often addressed by these videos at the same time? Alhamdulillah

As Dr Suleiman says, 'It would be pretty strange to ask Allah to make the Qur'an the spring of your heart and to not read the Qur'an . Just like any other dua,there has to be a deed that matches the dua''. I struggled with postpartum depression early this year ,so my doctor prescribed me antidepressants & i rarely cry ever since i started taking those pills ,as a muslim i rarely listened to islamic scholars & i used to listen to music all the time , once the depression started it was aggravated by the music & it felt like i was drowning so i stopped listening to music , one day i saw this lecture of dr.Omar Suleiman about jibreel it was my first time enjoying listening to an islamic scholar, i was driving & As i was listening to him i started crying all the way home & i felt a relief & i needed to know more about my religion so i listened to another lecture & another one … now i listen to him every time I’m driving… i love how he makes me feel closer to Allah without using harsh words…thank you so much for being so intelligent,kind & soft spoken , you’re the reason i started focusing on my faith again …may allah reward you firdaws

Just to show you how massive anxiety can be, Musa AS (when he met Allah SWT) told Allah I’m afraid of going to Pharaoh and then began to list various reasons after being commanded to go to him. He killed a coptic and fled the city because they would have murdered him so imagine the fear that he would have of death. When speaking to Allah in Surah Ash-Shuara’ (26:12-13), he mentions the fear of being rejected and denied by the people. He then mentions my chest will tighten (anxiety), my tongue will not be fluent (speech impediment) and says send Aaron instead (dodging responsibility). In Ayah 13 itself he says they will kill me. Why would he mention all of these reasons and then being killed as the last one? How has the fear of people triumphed the fear of life? It is something really interesting and worth thinking about as to why Allah has let us know of this information in the Qur’an.

Subhan Allah! This is just what we all need in this day and time. What a profound and beautiful talk on such powerful masnoon duas. Jaazak au khairun Kaseeran Kaseer!

all these duas mentioned in the videos in this series i've memorized them but in plural for example when the imam read it in ramadan this year, like الهم ان تجعل القرآن ربيع قلوبنا can I read them becuase now i cant rmrbr the singular one properly but remeber the same duas in plural correctly? pls advice

Last Friday night, I was rushed to the hospital because of chest pain and rapid heartbeat. It was one of the worst cases of panic attack I have ever experienced. I struggle mentally but always try not to miss the five daily salah. Today, I went on RU-vid and the first video that came up was this - "Du‘a to Relieve Anxiety." My eyes got teary. How beautiful and merciful our Rabb SWT is. He has never neglected me. Alhamdulillah.

i have struggled with anxiety for 20+ years and i am 23, i went to therapy and had medications, i cried, complained, read, meditated and nothing ever helped me, i always felt low on confidence and miserable. Only prayer to Allah healed me and i am so much better now alhumdullilah

1997 ,I had personal experience with this duaa, my tubical pregnancy change into normal ,subhan ALLAH. I spend 6 days in hospital , I find this duaa the title attracts me and the faith on my beloved nabi WORDS are haq .I reading this duaa and miracle happened my daughter is a miracle baby she is 27 ALHAMDULILLAH.Also ALLAH SWT gave my the love of quran also after that till now I am a student .

I prayed this (English version) in sujood during tahajud. i cried all the time i prayed this and it relieved me every time. no wonder the prophet SAW recommended that this dua be learned.
