Helpful video, spot on, covers exactly the most important things I found over past 3 years of experimenting/reading: 1.Manufacturers are advertising crazy theoretical speeds on routers, be advised that practical speed on 2.4 GHz is close to 40-50 mbps(factors like overcrowded network unless you are living on Mars) (1mBps=8 mbps) 2.the 5GHZ is short range high speed network which works well.(covers 2 big adjacent rooms). Again, note what kind of devices you have, smart switches only work on 2.4GHz which is supported here. 3.The router's main WAN port should support fast ethernet(100mbps)/gigabit ethernet(1gbps).One should match this to what ISP plan is subscribed. 4.clubbing the individual port speeds needed(requirement) to match the main WAN port.

Good explanation.....just wanted to add that the ac750 would means that device has a bandwidth of 750mbps Jyada Mbps means jyada device connect kr sakte. It's the bandwidth of 5ghz frequency, the speed support might be different. For example I was having ac1350 router but it's max speed was 100mbps, then why I bought ac1350?, It's because I can connect more device, ofcourse with more device processor of router also come in play. I have tried ac750, 1200, 1350 and ac1900 for long term. in my opinion for for low to medium usage ac1200 is best a6 or c6 like you suggested. For medium to heavy usage (multiple devices watching youtube and gaming without ping issue) ac1900 is best. Archer c80 (ac1900) is best and latest, if you want older with pendrive support a9 is Also good, I have used both). Unfortunately I have only used tp link router till now....so can't say about other company routers

In most areas, Airtel offers adsl connections. The router they provide on adsl is trash so a good dual band router is a must.

@Saurabh Kr Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line in simple manner means that there will be difference in downloading and uploading speed , downloading speed will be great but u will get less uploading speed (it's better for someone who doesn't upload much !), On other hand sdsl is symmetric one , both download and upload speed are same ; Hope this helps!

8:50 bro you r wrong here...vo isp pe nhi router settings me channel width 40 mhz or mobile device support hona chiye kernel level pe.. generally router ki channel width 40mhz for 2.4ghz set krne se chal jata h...mobile me 150mps link speed show krne lgta h..or speed bhi 90+ aa jati h 2.4 pe agr fir bhi na aaye to custom rom try kro mobile ke liye pc or laptop already support hote h...jab tak tum channel width 40mhz use kr rhe ho 2.4 ke liye

07:18 - भले ही 5 Ghz पर 450 mbps सपोर्ट करे पर WAN पोर्ट पर तो 100 mbps ही सपोर्ट करेगा मतलब आपका 200 mbps का plan हो पर WAN पोर्ट केवल 100 mbps को ही खीच पाएगा और आगे भी 100 mbps ही दे पाएगा ।

Bhai Mera BSNL fiber ka connection hai 50mbps ka plan hai or second floor par range nahi aati to mujhe network extend karne ke liye konsa router lena chahiye kya TP link ka c20 750 sahi rahege. or jo bsnl ka router hai wo single band hai to kya dual band router se range extend karne par koi fark padega speed par ya nahi, please koi sasta or acha router suggest karde

Hello Chandan, I have a 50mbps FIBER connection. Currently I have a 2.4ghz Tp-link Wi-Fi router. 5 mobile phones and 2 office laptops are always connected at any given point and a TV is connected very occasionally. I had planned to buy Tp-Link AC750 but after watching your video has made me choose between AC750 & AC1200... Which router would you suggest ?? Waiting for a response.

AC750 is enough for you right now as you're using only 50 mbps internet plan. If you plan on upgrading your internet to 100 Mbps even then AC750 will be enough as they support up to 100mbps only wired or wireless. AC1200 and above is required ONLY if you have internet plans of 200 Mbps or more.

Do you mean 100 Mbps or 10 mbps ? Because if you have a 10 mbps connection from your ISP no router can help with increasing speed but range might be increased through some routers. TP link c24 (ac750) is a good option for ₹1500 (on Amazon), I'm currently using it on a 250mbps plan by airtel and i get 100mbps on 2.4ghz and 5 ghz both and the range is good too. Just a friendly advice, you can upgrade to a 50mbps plan atleast as you're using quite a few devices including firestick for streaming it'll help surely.

Excellent videos - one query - I need to extend my airtel fiber nokia modem range to the rooms in the house - I cannot use a cable to create access points because of the interior and paint works ( not to damage the look) . Pease advise which system i can use to extend the network wirelessly only. I understand that for fibre this is going to be difficult

Which is the best one for today? In my research I saw that C6 doesn't support ota updates. Is it important..? And usb model is more than 1k expensive. Any other usb models.? This is for my fiber connection with modem.

Please reply. Which one do you prefer if c6 and dir 825 comes at same price and if dir825 is ₹300 cheaper? Also i will connect 7-8 devices at max, half of which on next room on one side and half on other side room, will mu mimo effective in that case. If mu mimo not so effective, then I want usb, which one should i buy, dir825 or tp link ac1200? And is 600-700 more price justified in ac1200?

Bhai wi-fi calling kaunsa router support karta hai ya router me kya hona chahiye ki wifi calling chale. I use airtel sim. Tenda f3 use kar raha hu usme wifi calling nhi milti. Netgear ka purana router hai single band usme wifi calling chalti hai but kuch der baad wifi calling band ho jaati hai. Plz suggest me a good dual band router for these requirements.. my data plan is of 100mbps

Thanks for this video. Excellent content. I have ordered an Android tv which supports dual band wifi. Currently at home i have 40 mbps connection with single band wifi router. Normally there will be 4 devices connected to wifi. So with existing setup is it possible to stream 4k content on TV. If no then please suggest best dual band router. I dont need usb port. Thanks

TP LINK ka GPON router kaisa hai? It works only with fiber connection, my area doesn't have Airtel/ jio. So local fiber broadband works on it

I hv a query... my plan is 777 bsnl ftth.... 100mbps... maharashtra state Vender gave me net link single band router /ont..it gives speed of 52-53mbps If i use router like tp link ac750/1200 as range extender...will my speed increase We use wifi 90% of the time...no wired connection for amy devices Or should i go for dual band ont device.. I have D-Link AC1200 And 5GHz band is only if you work close to router and has high speed My Ac1200 Router Has Gigabit Ports And also MU-MIMO Technology supported And main point is You should have Plan Of 100mbps+ from your ISP to use dual band router at full potential
