U didn't tell us in the beginning that we have to create a swat folder or partition And u said we have to resize the other partition space and u didn't tell us how to do it

I am having an warning msg while partitioning my disc. The msg is : The operation you selected will convert the selected basic disk(s) to dynamic disk(s). If you convert the disk(s) to dynamic , you will not be able to start installed operating systems from any volume on the disk(s) (except the current boot volume). Are you sure you want to continue?
Select the free space or the memory u have selected for partion ....then there will be an option at the bottom to rezize go there and resize .... If your ram is 8gb then type 2gb there create partition .
I fixed that, it occured to me, your new drive must be in NTFS, so the boot menu is off, try changing it to ETI and then change it to EX4, you will be good!

yashaswi bhaskarla It worked for me guys . The solution is to change the type of partition to EFI File instead of ext4 and you will see that boot flag is set " on ". Then you just need to put again " ext4 " and the boot flag will remain " on ".
I tried to install Kali Linux but after partitioning it is saying no efi partion was found and there is some installation issue if I try to install it.Also,when I open my laptop there is grub written followed by cursor blinking.. windows is not showing
I am having a problem with the drive . During the installation of Kali ,it doesn't give me the option to select my unallocated space .It just shows the USB drive as the space to install Linux. Is it because I do not have two disks as you ,and if so please tell me how am I supposed to do it?

Do you by chance use more than 1 monitor? The gray screen is the login, you just might not be able to see it. Hit enter, type your password, and hit enter again and you are logged into kali. From there you should be able to get to display settings
There is an error for me On graphical install But I click on install no problem n I install like that It shows end kernel panic -not syncing UFS unable to mount root from unknown blocks

I found the error in Detect and mount installation media step. The error message was " an installation step failed. You can try to run the failing item again from the menu"
After selecting boot device getting 'selected boot image did not authenticate' . Why this ? Already disabled secure option in boot setup. But before getting boot device option asking xxxx + enter to complete the change , esc - continue without changing.
Bro when I opened Rufus like you have opened in 2:36, the box where the Device name is to be there, in mine no Device name is shown there, please help............
You don't have to have the Rufus app on the same disk where you need to install Kali Linux, (i think you know this but) neither the .iso should be in that same disk
Is because you maybe are not using network connection, in order to pass that section in offline mode you have to check only the first option, all the others have can be installed later

that data which were in C drive can't be retrieve. cause your windows is corrupted now. the only solution is insert your hard disk to a friend's pc as second hard disk then copy your data from C drive
My Kali windows looks different than yours. It has lots more white and settings isn't an option. I selected everything you did but it looks weird either way. Any one know why this might be?

I am having partition problem . i am dual booting kali , windows pre-installed . i have created a separate volume of 50 gb for linux installation. but when i am in the process of installing kali at partiton part , the partition which i created is not showing at that time .. Rather 53.7 gb part is showing . what should i do .. Plz help
Yeah, when on partition disks section select the partition (that should have 53.7GB), and select the resize the partition option, After that set the partition to 50.0GB, when back to the partition menu there Will be 3.7GB FREE SPACE, Simply select swap space as the video tells

For those that face issue after installing Kali and you reboot your PC but can't find Windows 10 in the GRUB menu, simply Enter Linux as Root and use this Command in the Terminal >> os-prober (Hit Enter) Again type >> update-grub (Hit Enter) Now turn off and On the PC to see your Windows 10 again
