Thank you very much for your kind words. I actually had 5 video projects in the works through fall/winter of last year, many were in the editing phase. Unfortunately my CPU crashed in January and all content was lost. I would stick to one video at a time but many of them require time-lapse elements (like showing the wheat maturing, from seed to harvest etc.) so I kind of have to do it like that. At any given time I'll have several projects in the works. The good news is that I have started to collect more content and have started to BACK UP my CPU. ....imagine that.... I should have new videos ready by early-mid summer 2018. Thank you for watching!

Your welcome. It was great hearing from you. Sorry about your loss of data. It is very difficult to do that kind of project over such a long time period. Have you seen the farmhandscompanion? He puts out very little content but it is pretty good when he does. I love his floor ideas, then lazily he waits for rain.. but I bet he uses the hose then films it the next time it sprinkles some rain.. I'd grow too impatient waiting for the rain to set the mortar. I will have a differently named channel up at some point. I have nothing at the moment, still waiting on a probate court settlement before I can begin to really hunt for my future homestead in earnest. But I might throw some plain old talk videos up in the mean time, just to get more familiar with my cameras & editing. If so it will be Ana's Homestead or Ana's Homestead Dream. The last one has an 8 second old piece I was trying to load as a pic or the intro or something like that.. idk. I have a lot to learn about that stuff.

I love Farm Hand's Companion. Probably the first of this class of videos that I watched with great interest. A few years ago he used to put out a video every three months or so and I would wait in eager anticipation. Then there was a long hiatus. But yes, I love his stuff. Because of his historic interest combined with simple living, I feel closer to his work than most other RU-vidrs doing similar things. So get your channel going. I hope it goes well. High interest combined with personal experiments in subject matter makes a good start.

I am making some progress, first I reinstated my 8 year old email that was attached to this account. I thought that was going to be a problem. It wasn't. Then I verified my you-tube account so I could load up videos longer than 15 minutes. Earlier that day, I invested into three different types of el cheapo tripods. The young man at wal-mart said I could not purchase the Go Pro Stick for my little Vivitar camera because it wouldn't fit it. hehehe.. little did he know, it came with an adapter for a regular camera to mount. So the stick has a stand or a carry & walk along 4th option. Then I got one of those short 1 foot tall flexible/bendable stands like the gorilla type. Then I bought some other 'kit' that contained a head strap system for mounting a camera view of what you see.. because I saw it had a device to convert a Go Pro Camera Mount to a Standard Camera Screw Type Mount. What happened is, I got 2 of those Universal Go Pro/Standard Mount Conversions... & 3 Tripods. I don't own a Go Pro. But the nice thing is as I add Camera Types over the years I can convert any 2 Cameras at a time to any of the Tripods or the Go Pro Stick. That cost me $50. all total. I then got a few more batteries. I had only a 16 SD Card, but now I have 2 more 32 SD Cards to add to that. Then I fell into bed exhausted. I just woke. But I still haven't been able to find the option to change that Terrible "T" next to my posts/name. You have a nice picture next to yours. I saw the option only one time when I was creating the channel the first time, but never again have I been able to find it. Can you share where it is easily? Don't go to any extra trouble, eventually I will find it. Maybe I am seeing it but just don't know what it is called? Now off to reboot & find some coffee.

Overall some pretty rickety junk, but the increase in potential camera angle views, & the universal camera mount converters are probably worth it.
