Phenomenonal video, poured a little bit of coffee on my DS Edge n the R1 became sticky after a while, this was a great help, instant sub' to your channel!
@@eeesawk I couldn’t find where to put them so I just left them out mate, no dramas so far and have been using it for around 6-7 days pretty consistently. I kept them in a zip lock just incase I find a video or explanation on where they are meant to go
Those two plastic sheets are from the tigger switch. They should be fixed inside of the back panel. Make sure to put them in the correct position so when you put back the front part of the controller, you won’t damage the plastic sheets with the trigger switch. Hope that helps.
Esas laminas se rompen con facilidad, al romperse no cubriría la garantía, sabrían que el mando se ha abierto. Alguno sabe donde conseguir piezas del mando?
4:01 What is the name of the part that presses the button behind the controller? This plastic part with a magnet for the pedal broke. I want to find this part, but I don’t know what it’s called.
I went to the description to find the link for the back button module in hops to find a link to the mechanical part removed at 3:50. mine keeps breaking and i just want to get a few to have on hand. However no link were there.
You mentioned providing a link to the module for the rear paddle at 4:39 but the only links provided are for analog stick replacements, not the board you're pointing to.
@How-FixIT please could you tell me where can we find the metal part with a magnet that you remove in your video at 4:01 please it's urgent I have one that broke and I don't want to buy a new controller just for that. please thank you for your answer
Would the silicon pads from a regular Dualsense fit in the Edge? Asking because on mine the buttons feel much more mushy than the one the console came with so I'm wondering if I could just swap the silicon button pads to retain the feel.
Most dualsense edge are like that or worst, i have replaced like 3 controllers andsome are worst, he mentioned in this video that he put a link for the rubber buttons thing in the description but its not there. Im trying to fix mine, did you fix yours? Amazon does sell the conductive rubber pads but its specified for dualsense so i dont know if it works on the edge. Someone on reddit said he had to cut the rubber from the dualsense to transfer it to the edge
The buttons should be as easy to swap out as the joysticks. My x button was working fine, I turned my ps5 off to make a run and come back to it not working. To have to do all of that for 1 button is ridiculous.
I’ve tried doin this however now my microphone mute button is super stiff and also the touchpad is almost as if it clicks twice when i press it somebody please help
Please help at the part of 31:53 I can't get this piece to click back into place everything else has slotted back fine but this piece won't go back please help!
where can I find that mechanical elements left back paddle? I broke mines @4:01. please help me. not trying to buy a new remote thanks in advanced. @How-FixIT
Does anyone know how to fix the stick module error cause I’ve tried everything and my controller has been bugging and due to the controller stick module error which a lot of people have been having problems with
Hello! My back buttons are not working anymore.. and when a button is assigned for example to X, the regular X button also does not work. However, when I change to default profile, the normal X buttons works again. Do you maybe know what the issue could be?
is anyone else having problems putting the back cover back on? the one that has the serial number on it? i cannot for the life of me get that back on properly...anytips would be appreciated i tried lining up the bottom tabs first then pushing it around evenly but one side or the other wont fully click in & it stops the back buttons from being properly used since the distance is not the same
The back button internal piece broke on my controller. After 4 hours of trying to contact support for my warranty they tell me to ship it to them and I have to pay for shipping.. 200 dollar controller and they don’t give me a box and make me pay to get it repaired smh. Still waiting on it to return now .. that piece should not be plastic. It’s like extreme rate first generation when it was plastic and now it’s metal, they need to update it
@@JackTheReaper758 doesn’t matter how much u used it if u dropped it he can still break depends the angle u dropped it at how high u dropped it, it only takes one time
