I don't know if I can agree with you about the Dualtron Addiction part because I have also spent over $175K on behind the scene work that I do working to help build this industry. I would like to believe it's MORE about my Passion towards Humanitarianism and Philanthropy. In order for me to HELP people avoid the pitfalls of buying Electric Scooters, I must BUY Scooters. Perhaps if I give a little back story on WHY I do what I do, it might make more sense to You. When I started doing what I DO for this industry some four years ago... there was NO ONE doing Power Scooter Review Videos on RU-vid. In my search WHY, I discovered that The Vendors and Manufacturers did not GIVE RU-vidrs the BiG Boy Premium Beast Power Scooters for FREE. That's because they were too expensive to give away, and The RU-vidrs could not afford to BUY them and make a profit (so none of the main RU-vidrs did any Big Power Scooter Videos for tgat reason) I chose to fill that VOID in the Industry and decided not to do freebies, affiliate links, loans, favors or discounts. I called every Manufacturer and Vendor out there and expressed to them what I STOOD for and expressed to them that I WILL NOT BUY any Scooters from any Vendor or Manufacturer who did NOT Promise me to Provide Quality Customer Service and Qualtiy, Safe Merchandise. As Long as they continue honoring my expectation, I would promote and recommend their Brand. Now with this understanding I set out to begin my objective (BUY as many Premium Power Beast Scooters as I can in order) to educate and protect Consumers from taking risk and lost buying Scooters they can't handle, don't understand, or can afford to buy only to find out later it's too much Scooter. When I started doing these Videos there was no big interest in Power Beast Scooters... TODAY there's a massive DEMAND for Big Powerful Premium Beast Scooters, plus Consumers are more educated than ever before. So I've accomplished my Goal. I have bought two RIONS (Re90 and THRUST), a WePed SSR and many more that you do not see in this location. As I stated in the Video, I own several homes and Offices across the Country and my Scooters are spread throughout those locations. I just happen to have more at this location because it is closer to San Francisco. Yes, you can't go wrong with the Dualtron CITY, it is can amazing Scooter. The Dualtron X is another very unique Scooter but for very niche Customers. It is however the King of Electric Scooters for many Years now and no Scooter haas been able to dethrone it, except MiniMotors themselves with the NEXT version. There are so many options out there and chances are I OWN them if they are Power Beast Scooters. I wish You well on your PEV Journey and hope to run in to You out on the Roads, Paths or Trails some day soon. I travel the Country Riding with many different Groups, Riders, Novice and even talking to Non-PEV owners (which I LOVE the MOST) about Micro Mobility. Hey @GMejia1974... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. The Dualtron Luxury was and remains a formidable challenge to many Scooters in its Class and above its Class. I use my Dualtron Luxury to practice my willies. The LUX has such ridiculous Power packed in its small chassis (I use it without my size deminishing Performance). I actually think because of its size, it makes a big guy like me enjoy its abilities so much. That little Scooter out performs a lot of favorable Scooters on the streets today. When the Dualtron Luxury Plus came out, I had to Ride it to see if in fact it has the same or greater Power, Torque and Agility as the first LUX. It did not dissapoint me in any way (I am 6'1" tall and weigh 242lbs). The PLUS has a 2" longer deck, a larger battery (21700 Cells), headlights, turn signals, wide tires 10 X 3.5" I love the improvements a lot. For an extra $300 dollars, I feel The LUX PLUS is well worth buying over the amazing 1st generation LUX. Stay SAFE out there my friend and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride. It is definitely one of the best built HyperScooters on the streets to date. I highly recommend not buying this or the previous Storm if you dot have adequate experience riding powerful HyperScooters. This is a very serious machine made for serious eNthusiasts who love Power, Speed, Torque, and know how to handle it all!! Hey @davidmichael3189... thanks for Visiting Scootopia. First, let me say Congrats on you Dualtron Thunder 2 purchase. The original Thunder held it down for MiniMotors for many years (so much so, that I bought and still own three of them) When the Duatron Thunder 2 came out, I was a bit anxious (because I did not want to discover that they cut corners and did not improve) but all my anxiety was put to rest because MiniMotors delivered big time with the design and performance of The Thunder 2. Let's be clear when it comes to Dualtron Seats. The ONLY Scooter that recieve R& D for designing a Seat specifically for the that Scooter was and is the Dualtron X Brand. All other SEATS are just CLONES from universal seats that are duplicated for many Makers and Brands. I really am not a FAN of eScooter Seats because of that factor. Seats just don't match the strength and quality of the Dualtron X Brand Seat because when it comes to the actual pole assembly that holds the seat to The Scooter just never really hold up or maintain the strong stability a seat should maintain. A lot of times, sears don't even bolt up to the DECK that companies say they're suppose to fit. So, with all that said... the ONLY Seat that I actually stand behind is the one and only Seat designed for the Scooter it fits on. I bought two of those seats (for my X1 and X2) but I NEVER sit on them when I attach them on a Ride. That's because the Seat LOOKS so GOOD that it attracts the attention of people who ride and mostly those who don't and gives me the opportunity to talk to newbies about Micro Mobility PEV use and advantages. I hate the way Scooters Ride while sitting. So I NEVER sit on any of my 37 Power Beast Scooters when Riding... EVER!! I'm sorry to dissapoint you but just don't think sitting on these Power Scooters is the safest way to Ride. So I don't encourage or promote any sitting while Riding. There's absolutely NO Electric Scooter that is WATERPROOF. ANY eScooter. Even the ones that say they're IP 5 Rating. The NAMI is the most resilient one I've seen to date with water but I WONT EVER RECOMMEND anyone take there Scooter into water on purpose.

Water corrodes. Just don't ride them in water. I don't even ride my bicycle in the rain because.....water corrodes!!

I'm no engineer but based on many of my very smart tech savvy comrads... some of them have made less do more with brilliant programming, quality drive , control boards, BMS, and of engineering. Hey @Charlie Pineda... thanks for visiting Scootopia. The Dualtron Brand by MiniMotors is perhaps the most dialed in Electric Scooter on the Market. There is literally, no extra cable, no extra gaps, no unused area, just no SPACE to ever MOD a Dualtron Brand Scooter (unless you are a Dualtron Expert Mechanic or Specialist) most people who MOD a Dualtron (completely strip it down and modify frame, suspension, Steering, Controllers, Motors etc) go the extra mile because they have to in order to make it what it's not (DIY repairable) I would highly recommend you hire a Dualtron Brand Expert Fabricator to MOD your X or X2. I honestly think it would be smarter and less costly to just by the New Version rather than making an older version, the new version. Hope this helps you Buddy. Hey @thamasK411... thanks for visiting Scootopia. The Storm Limited was not a flop. The issue started when MiniMotors tried to develop the Storm Limited with 12" tires, which led to motor issues but they discovered the issue and quickly went into solving the problem by 1st offering free kits that people can buy if they wanted to fix the issue faster. They also gave the option for people to return their Storm LTD and recieve a brand new one with all the issues fixed by MiniMotors. Those who chose to return their Scooters (including myself) made out the best because MiniMotors fixed the issue perfectly. When we recieved our RVSD Storm Limiteds... they were perfect and turned out to be one of the best Dualtron Scooters ever created. Of course they were so powerful and fast that they intimidated a lot of people and people were scared to set them to Max "P" Settings due to the extreme power, Torque and speed... Of course the diehard Dualtron Riders loved the improvements and quickly embraced the amazing performance of the Dualtron Storm Limited (including myself) However the Dualtron Storm Brand (especially the 1st one, w/Removable Battery) were so twerky, jumpy and powerful that people developed a phobia because they were not Dualtron eNthusiasts. I happen to love the power, Torque and speed of the Dualtron Storm Brand and next to my favorite Scooter (Dualtron X LTD) of ALL my 52 Power HyperScooters purchased (20 of which are Dualtrons)... the Dualtron Storm Limited falls into 2nd place. It is my 2nd most favorite Scooter because of how well designed it is and it's ability to not only perform well but get tremendous range (some 95 miles with my size) Of course I do not recommend novice Riders buy any Dualtron Storm (the 1st Removable pack, nor the Storm Limited) because a Rider NEEDS to be extremely experienced with Hyper Scooters in order to handle and control a Storm Brand Dualtron Scooter. They (especially The Storm LTD) are amongst the most powerful production HyperScooters ever made. I do not recommend the Thunder 3 because of folding mechanism issues that leaf to serious safety concerns which means I do not support the 2024 version of the Storm LTD over the 2023 version which is the best and safest version to get. I got my Storm Limited to 64mph easy, with no wobble or stability issues. Just a fun and thrilling Ride everytime. @SCOOTOPIAbyOhManDan wow thank you for so much information man !! I never had heard anything about the stem as there is like no videos out about the dualtron thunder 3 just like with the limited. What's happening with it ?

@thomasK411 the Thunder 3 was a bismo failure due to the faulty fold lock mechanism. They just did not think through the new fold lock lever and it is not reliable as is. If I were not dealing with some serious medical issues I would be doing Videos right now that speak about those issues but because I am not strong enough to create videos right now, there are no real honest videos about the current issues with regard to the Thunder 3 and newest lever style fold lock mechanism that was introduced on the Thunder 3, and now 2023 Storm LTD and no telling how many other future Scooters will have the same problem lever style fold lock mechanism. I will ALWAYS keep it 💯 with my Scootopian Family and Brotherhood. Stay SAFE out there my Brother and remember to always GearUP whenever, wherever You Ride.
