The Indian and Pakistani food palette is the same. A lot of the dishes found in Pakistan are similar to Mughalai which is very common in Delhi, Lucknow, Tamil Nadu and Kerala etc. Sindhi, Punjabi food items are common to both countries. Indian food has a wider palette with all the South-Indian and North Eastern dishes. It’s safer to say South-Asian food to avoid misleading people
There is no such thing as Pakistani cuisine. Everything originated in India apart from Chapali Kabab. As for the Sindhi/Punjabi cuisine - refugees brought it to India after partiton.
If you are still in Dubai do try the burgers from Hardees! It's the best I've ever had! Also try the food from this outlet called SALT, amazing sliders, and sweet potato fries.
