I recently had the opportunity to visit Aslam Chicken in Old Delhi, a place that had come highly recommended by locals and online reviews. Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant left much to be desired, and I found myself disappointed on several fronts. First and foremost, the service at Aslam Chicken was nothing short of abysmal. The staff seemed disinterested and lacked basic hospitality skills. They were slow in attending to customers and appeared to be more focused on their own conversations rather than providing attentive service. It was frustrating to witness such a lack of professionalism and courtesy. Moving on to the food itself, I must say that I was extremely underwhelmed. The much-touted chicken dishes turned out to be average at best. The chicken was dry, lacking flavor, and had an unappealing texture. It was evident that the meat had not been properly marinated or cooked to perfection. For a restaurant that claims to specialize in chicken dishes, I expected a lot more in terms of taste and quality. Moreover, the portion sizes were quite small considering the prices charged. The dishes were not only unsatisfying but also overpriced. I found myself paying a premium for mediocre food, which left a bitter taste in my mouth. The ambiance of the restaurant was also disappointing. The seating area was cramped, and the overall cleanliness of the place left much to be desired. The lack of attention to detail in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment further added to my overall negative experience. Lastly, the wait times were excessive, making the entire dining experience frustrating. I had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for my food to arrive, and the staff showed no sense of urgency in addressing the issue. This lack of efficiency only compounded the disappointment I felt during my visit. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Aslam Chicken in Old Delhi based on my recent visit. The subpar service, mediocre food quality, high prices, and disappointing ambiance make it difficult to justify a return. There are far better options available in the area that offer delicious and satisfying meals along with better overall dining experiences.

Aslam chicken is overrated. Shafiq Qureshi in Zakir Nagar serves much better Butter Chicken tikkas at half the cost and they prepare the Butter chicken tikkas in front of us as well

Day before yesterday I went to this place after watching the hype from these many years and honestly saying that this place is completely overhyped.. you can find so many better things than this heart attack chicken. There's too much unwanted wastage of butter.. like not everyone is able to eat this amount of butter and more than 95% of the people leave enormous amounts of butter .. hell of a wastage.... PS:- i am not a Delhite
