Halerrrr! I'm sharing here a documentation of my side-trip to Dubai. I had an 8-hour layover from 7:30PM to 3:30AM. I have a Filipina friend/niece, Shena, who works at a hospital there. I applied my VISA through her as my "relative" in the application.
The whole vlog is gonna be all about the things I and we did since landing to going to the gate for my connecting flight from Orlando, USA to Manila Ph. I hope you enjoy the video in as much as we enjoyed the whole chaos of getting lost, appreciating the beauty of the place and the moments of being together.
About Shena and I:
Pareha mig gi-skwelahan nga elementary school sa bukid sa El Paraiso. Ahead sya nakog 1 year kay mas tiguwang man sya. Haler, obvy. We didn't know it then pero we found peace in each other's company. Pareha diay ming introverts. So while the other girls are busy bullying, kaming duha tuag napo nag "explore" sa mga tunaan sa kabaw and discovered our own paradise. And we'd go there panagsa kay it's at the base of the mountain where we live and the trip down is steep. And we'd imagine things, fantasize about having a luxurious life in our paradise and how beautiful our paradise could become if it's developed.
We both worked overseas as adults. Sige ra mig lagyo and rarely keep in touch but when we do, it's like the kids in us never left. So when the chance to visit her in her work country came, I made sure to take it. And here I am. Here we are. Exploring a new paradise the kids in us would never have thought would experience.
