Having lived in Abu Dhabi for 19 years, I can tell you this stuff is clear as day over there, and yet there’s been no change and nothings been said for decades.
well dubai is a worst place to work in. asian labour are treated as animal. no freedom no life nothing at all.. lets see for how long these arabic can show their proudness with their money . everything has end and when dubai end .. these people will cry for basic need ... we will see that whatever we have been through .. and what ever you have done to us will come to end ..god is great
Aljazeera should make a documentary about the poor contractors building the 2022 stadiums in Qatar and the contions they live in. Aljazeera wont do a program as they are not FREE press in Qatar. Shame on you. Get your own country in order, before calling others
this is well know fact about dubai that they exploit these people terribly..yet people vecation there or live there as ex pats no pangs of conscience...it's sickening...
Construction workers in poor Latin American countries make more money than Indians and Pakistanis working in Dubai. And what is worse, slaves in Dubai have to work 70-hour weeks.
@@classified0713 ha ha .......No. but it is ruled by those who are islamic via their religion. ..and sharia is the law of Islam. It governs every aspect of your dailty life. Got it ?
@@MayurPanghaal However UAE law is not governed by sharia law otherwise there would be no women in bikinis or bars and drinks and clubs and all that stuff. And there definitely won’t be unequal treatment of humans unless you’re a non muslim then you pay jizya if its under true sharia
@@MayurPanghaal and if it does “govern every aspect of their life” then as rulers they shouldn’t allow these things in general so no it doesn’t govern their lives.
I Follow Islam, Some time's we Have Maid's to work for us (My family), Me and my Family we Love are Maids, We are so kind to them, We eat together, same food. We give the Maid's more money then we say and to their family's too. And no one has sex with the Maids. We see them as Family.
Having lived in Dubai for several years and having been in a relationship with a white girl, I've seen both sides of the equation. I am Indian by the way. Your salary in Dubai is almost always tied to your nationality/race. Unless you are in a company that prides itself in being an equal opportunities style of employer, you will definitely get paid lesser than colleagues from more developed countries. But this distinction doesn't just apply to brown vs. white or black vs. arab, etc. My girlfriend (Spanish) was at a director level position of a small startup. One of her subordinates was British. Subordinate was paid more than the director. It happens in Dubai. Salary segregation in Dubai leads to racial segregation for the most part. Different people can afford to do different things. I'm not sure if these rough tier's apply for general salaries in Dubai but here's where you stand in the 'nationality pay scale': 1. British/American 2. Arab from Saudi/Oman/UAE/etc. 3. Other Western Europeans (Germany/Portugal/France/etc.) 4. Lebanese 5. Malaysian/Thai/Other more developed Asian countries (Taiwan for example..) 6. Filipino/Indian 7. Pakistani/Bangladeshi/Syrian (country with any level of turmoil/desperation) 8. African countries I might have messed up some of the tier's above but this is pretty much how it works. Uncontrolled, unregulated capitalism. The basic rule in this entirely racist scheme appears to be that you can expect to be paid about twice of what you may earn in your own country. Hence, the economic development of where you come from greatly affects the final salary you may be able to negotiate. Of course, as most Indians in Dubai are blue collar workers (they get treated very badly, by the way), you will pretty much be regarded as 'poor'. Even if you aren't. It's just a very prevalent stereotype in the arab world. White = Rich. Brown = Poor. There are plenty of broad minded people in Dubai, no doubt about that at all. You'll be able to find friends who don't wear their race on their sleeves. You'll meet several people who will also look at you weird if you're brown and in a 'posh' place. You may also be denied entrance into some clubs, etc. Dubai is racism at it's finest. There is no hidden racism in Dubai. Maybe that could be seen as a small positive. It's all blatant in your face, you suck because of your skin color kind of racism. But you're asking about how it's like. If you can get past all the blatant racism, you'll earn a higher salary than India and may lead a good lifestyle. I would've definitely counted myself as upper middle class in Dubai but I would not go back there for a million dollars. There were times where me and my girlfriend went out for dinner and the staff were all "Hello Ma'am, how are you today Ma'am ?" and I'd joke with her "What about Sir ?". Once at this restaurant called Fuddruckers where you order burgers and once they arrive you can go and fill up some toppings at a 'toppings bar' the lady came up and said "Ma'am you can now go and get some toppings". We were there, 5 Indian guys, and 1 white girl. I looked at my girlfriend and said "Baby, I guess you should pick up some toppings for us too". We all laughed and went to get toppings, but this is pretty much commonplace. There were times we even got sick of this kind of behavior. Once in Caribou Coffee I was there with my girlfriend and two other white ladies. I was standing right across the cash counter, waiting to order for everyone when the lady at the counter looked to my left (where the white people were sparkling in the sunlight, excuse my sarcasm) and said "Good afternoon Ma'am, what would you like to have ?"). My girlfriend got so annoyed she said "And good afternoon Sir, no ?". That shut her up. Some people like to downplay racism in Dubai but having been with someone of a different race, I got to see it in a very blatant but technical A/B testing sort of way. I've traveled and lived in about 40 countries. I've never been to a country more openly racist than the UAE so far. (I haven't lived in any other arab countries though..) I have to add though that racial violence isn't a part of the equation at all. I never felt unsafe (well, brown people outnumber everyone else in Dubai..), or even, threatened in any way. For an Indian, you'll just have constant not-so-subtle 'reminders' that you are 'inferior'. If you can deal with that (and the millions of Indians in Dubai certainly seem to be able to deal with it..) then Dubai will be fine for you.
racism exist even in India what type of color you have if light skin can't marry dark skin because of social status its like bringing shame to the family, trust me I love your context what you mention above but that's stuff exist even in our countries I'm not even Indian or from that region but these stuff exist all the time
@@seeker119 its not nearly as bad u idiot and indians its not about ur skin color its ur caste and its changing and it didnt even start as a bad thing. we have black communities that are allowed to live in india if it was an arab country they would be exterminated if they wernt working for them or serving them any purpose. almost a thousand years ago we let persians live in our country we were the first country accepting foreigners even the british wouldve killed outsiders if they were inhabiting their lands
The greed is too much people forget death comes at an appointed time to everyone, that day the money tricked from the workers will not help them . I wonder why people are so cruel .
what i mean to say is , we should try to develop our own economy and live close to our own resources my foreancestors went hundreds of years ago , there are many cheaters i find it hard to understand how muslims are treating other muslims like this
Even Brown. It's time you learn history of the East Indian Indentureship ! They were enslaved by the British, French and the Dutch. Humanly speaking the Indians have been the salvation of the colonies. " Holier - than - thou." You are running short of valid arguments. " By saying ...Indians are everywhere."
its worse in America we have the largest prison population in the world, most people are locked up for non violent offenses, and forced to work for 25c an hour. The prisons are private and for profit, meaning they can make the inmates work and if they don't they get put in solitary. And yes these prisons lobby for tougher sentences so they can keep the factories going.
whoa, such high quality vfx... almost had to overclock my CPU's to watch the video... *careful* if you don't have a strong fan system or if your computer is prone to overheating.... wow-ie fellas, this one is a doosie.... LAWL
Pakisasash? LOL It's Pakistan. Unbelievable. May Allah SubhanWaTaala help all the workers in those Arab lands, and may the oppressors of these workers be punished, Insha'Allah.
I believe the agency is the one that they deal with are the bad one. You can ask any employee and many these employees their life is much better than they are living in their country.
Khawla Sharaf there life is alot worse actually, they are commiting suicide they are trapped, dubai can afford to pay workers alot more, the agents are poor them selves
alphabet661 Chris Sahar were you kicked in the head by a horse as a kid? I am not a Trump fan but similarly this has nothing to do with him. The responsibilty lies with the country that permits this practice to take place.
Lets focus on the root of all these issues! humen by nature exploit fellow humen when in position of power and capital. The Arabs of Dubai and Qatar n so on obviously in very disturbingly cruel and in humane way exploit workers of these few countries.india, Pakistan, Bangladesh.... Yet there is no solution to this crises at all! . To reduce and stop this misery and slavery. Indian and the rest must literally start schemes of birth reduction and control. It sounds horrible, but it's the only way to reduce suffering and as a result reduce slavery! If I know that I am poorer than someone who has little but regular income and by giving birth to a child I may not be able to secure the child's upbringing financially I should not have a child! The governments of those countries must educate and prevent Birth in lower classes of Thier country. There are people in those countries that lives in tents or on the roads . but have more than one or two children, for whom they hardly provide two times food! The poverty is not the reason for them to suffer, the population is !
I feel no sympathy for these people who'd rather work as slaves in foreign countries than work for free in their motherland. Build your own country for your grandchildren to enjoy,,,
@Osama Zaman so they should work for you then,... for free ? maybe the reason the work in foreign because of people like you exploit them in the motherland !
Osama Zaman the people who are working as slaves where lied to that they would make a lot of money working in these countries, enough to support their families and start a buiseness in there home countries.
Sue James I live in Canada where life is pretty good for most. I make a fair amount of money and my wife does as well. We have zero debt, a decent size home, 2 vehicles paid for, and we never go hungry. Even in our situation we are hesitant to have a second child due to sky high day care costs and everything else associated with a child. My only question to people in 3rd world could tried is why have so many damn children! I realize education plays a small part but does it really truthfully take an education to realize if you can’t afford to feed yourself, you shouldn’t bring more people into this world. Even here in Canada it’s the families on social assistance that have the biggest families. Doesn’t make any sense. Safely it’s a cultural thing that a lots of people will have children for the sole purpose of taking care of them when they get older. If that is not the most self centred, self righteous, selfish things a person could do. Makes me angry that more of my money gets taken away, which in turn takes it out of my sons pocket, because people have no sense. A child is a human being! Your bringing a human being into the world without a means to support it and without a possibility of it having an enjoyable future. It’s down right fucked up is what it is

Even Brown. You should be ashamed to to call yourself a Canadian, don't forget you live on an encroached land ! What about the genocide your ancestors committed ? That red color on your flag represents the blood of native Canadians. Your expatriates are everywhere.
